I have been watching and studying wsb and I think I have better speed than last week. My mantra for today "If it's comfortable your doing it wrong"

Tried concentrating on my arch more as I tend to lose it when I unrack then have to re-arch before squatting. Arched so much back was hurting this is a good thing apparently :grin:

I have to ring in advance and book it in as they were getting angry at me taking ALL the beef off the shelves. :pfft:

So now I go to Le butchery and they hand me a PRE-AGED GIANT package and I proceed to le checkout where the cashiers always ask things like 'Are you have a BBQ with lots of friends or something?" NO it's ALL for ME!

Rolling DB floor press:

20lb x8 sharp pain in right shoulder :shock:

3.5kg x8 no pain in shoulder

5kg x8 shoulder ok but Vee a little scared :shock:

more dislocations

OHP: 20kg 5x3

Bent over BB row: 50kg 5x3

WG Pullups: x4, x4, x4

I have never had pain while liftering, well pain like that anywho, dunno what I did but feel OK now :-s

Was supposed to do dips and DB press but I will leave that for tomorrow.

First attempt I lost tension at the bottom of the squat and literally sat on box never to get up again :shock: :pfft:

Second attempt just no drive from hole and third just too knackered by this point and slightly dizzy from racking and re-racking.

Dont you just HATE it when that happens. You'll nail it next time for sure - eat more beef beforehand!

know exactly how ya feel vee, just sitting there with a load on ya back sucks a big one! some good steady training and volume going on thou keep it up

Thanks for stopping by Mister John :salute: at least I can re-rack squats easily enough, it's teh floor presses you can't re-rack that hurt! :shock:

Felt STRONG this mornering :grin: just went for it, pinned on floor press is not pretty.

I considered yelling for help then thought no Vee your tough try and get out of it! So could only get one end of the bar down, rolled it down to my waist, couldn't get it past the belt so had to take that off with one hand while holding the bar up then rolled the bar down and managed to get the other end down.

Pretty happy with that though my 2nd attempt at floor press.

Did dislocations in between sets too.

Maybe you've already said and I missed it - but what's a DE squat?

Hi CC! :grin:

I'm currently doing Westside Barbell and it consists of DE which is Dynamic Effort exes and ME which is Max effort exes.

Oh sweet, I was wondering what DE & ME meant too? I'm still getting used to the lingo but while we're here can you tell me what FTW means?

The only meaning I know it as is "f*ck the World" lol :pfft:
