Best Strength Athlete achievement: Big Mac by a country mile! 7th Ultimate Strongman Challenge, 792.5 total at his first NZPF Nationals with a huge 340 squat record (as a junior).

Best comeback of the year: Easily Danomyte after the horrific elbow dislocation (see You Tube) at the Oceania (?) Weightlifting Champs.
