Heres a video of Flex Lewis and his Head trainer highlighting his recent shoulder routine.

Some interesting variations, especially the use of Rest-Pause I haven't used in ages- has me urging to go thrash my shoulders right now!

I've had good success using mega-drop sets (4-5 drops) on lat raises followed by higher rep (12-20) arnie presses- while backing off overhead movements (mostly due to some niggly pain) most of this year with pleasing results. This looks the ticket for my next 4-6 weeks.

What ya think?

Bad form seems to work for him maybe this is where I am going wrong :-s my arms are nowhere near that size!

That said, shoulder raises are hard to load up, and sometimes sloppy form is needed to get the job did. If it's overloading the muscles, does it really matter?

It's not like you get form-points for keeping it perfect

Deltoid while not having 3 heads does have seperate components so I get what he is talking bout. Both the anterior and posterior aspects of the deltoid actually join onto the tendon in a fashion that is known as a multipennate muscle. This kind of muscle responds best to varying angles and degrees of stimulation as the motor units within this muscle have a large range physiological properties between each unit.

Yaaawn
