Perfume is a very personal thing. My opinion is that unless you know she likes it, don't waste your money. It may be a 'good brand' but there are a zillion good brands, and they don't all smell nice on everyone. I absolutely hate being given perfume unless it's one I love - it's happened a couple of times from well meaning people, and it just ends up as overpriced spray for the loo

And personally I wouldn't trust any cut priced version of a good brand. It's probably a fake and smells like poo. My sister once bought me a knock off perfume - looked perfect in the packaging, but was definitely not the real thing inside.

If you want to get her something like that, try to find out what she likes and go to Farmers - they have lots of great perfume gifts this time of year, with cool gift packs.

Old trick... check out what else GF has on the shelf...make a note of names, and go to Farmers for "something like" that. You don't necessarily need to buy it there, but the sales folk will give you good advice. Oh, and remember to make a note of what it is - if gf likes it, you can stick to that choice!

Otherwise yep, CC's right on two counts:

Knock-offs never quite hit the spot compared to the genuine article. They're cheap for a reason - either the smell is 'off' or it doesn't last as long; and

Farmers and other department stores often have boxed sets which are cheaper than the bits on their own - plus they come in a bigger box, which is what matters!
