todays workout:

lower back wasn't quite recovered from deadlifts last week and ended up tweaking it on the last set. legs still feel fresh as, gonna take it easy and maybe do some front squats later this week.

bench press

benches at my new gym are awesome. i can set up perfectly every single time, unlike at my old gym (lloyd elsmore) where it was a bit of a crap shoot with differing benches and bars. should be able to rep 70kgs next week.

seated overhead press

i usually do these standing, but since my lower back was feeling like crap i did them seated. felt awkward as racking/unracking the bar by myself.

back is healing up nicely, probably back to normal within a couple of weeks. expecting my max to be around 135, so about a 10kg reduction in strength.

drank a wee bit too much friday night, and had no appetite all day

on the plus side i think the sweet as dance moves i busted all night loosened my back up enough to the point where i think i can do some heavy as squats tomorrow :D
