Just to show we actually train in a gym!

Heaviest Zercher was 185. Can't see the video at work but from memory some weights/reps were: Axle Press Sam 120x5, Darc 100x5, Parallel Inc DB Nate 65x8, Sam 67xlots, Football Bar Aaron 140x1, Safety Squat Low Box Nate 180x3 (after failing!).

Just for the record I don't usually do 1-legged Leg Press, the training partners weren't there & I couldn't be assed lugging plates! 200x8 each leg seemed okay but depth was dubious!

that old guy at the start

LMAO :pfft: Classic.

Was gonna say something about his mama but then had a moment of clarity and thought "Hey we all get old".

You of all people should know that Rose, btw how is the gym at your retirement village? :pfft:

It's fucken awesome, they got us some new floaties for aqua jogging! Oh and I squatted more than the old fart down the road last night, we have a bit of a competition going on. I think he'll die first though, which is fine by me. I don't mind winning that way 8)

Shit! Thats some strong lifts. I love the quotes on the walls and the Ali posters. Whats the name of that gym nate? Is that equipment on site (ropes etc) or do you guys bring it in. If it does belong to the gym thats one awesome, forward thinking gym.

Umm to be honest I don't know the name of the gym, or if it even has a name? I've only been there for 18 months  We just call it the Magpies Gym?!

who is the massive guy?

and why is he using those DB's? they were flying around like plastic weights.

Heavy Duty Magele aka Big Sam, 197kg. The 67's are the biggest DB's in the gym. He shoulder presses them for 8-10's so probably needs some bigger ones

Awesome clip!

You definitely need a mirror in there Nate. :pfft:

Ummmm..... NO!!

You guys are Legends. Good luck in the upcoming Strongman Comps in NZ & Au.

Cheers bro, we'll hit it hard for sure. Good talking to you today bro.

Is that carpet in your "hard core gym"?

good work bro,

Should be an eastside vid in response...

LOL the rugby boys get cold feet!

I wouldn't say its a hardcore gym, just a well equipped sports specific gym.

The ESB video will rock no doubt! How's the ES Strongman training going?

Hey Nate, where did you guys buy that strong man thick pipe thing on the ground in front of you around 15 secs?

I got the 2" Diameter Axle made up by a local guy. It's made of heavy wall pipe with about 450mm of solid bar on each end, so weighs 19.5kg unloaded.

He can make these, monster dumbells, steel logs etc reasonably cheap.
