Indeed I could....cracked it YEEf'nHAAAA

1.72 x bodyweight..next goal 2x bodyweight..this will entail upping to 116kgs or losing 8 kgs..not sure what's easier..could go for a hlfway lose 3 kgs and go up to 110kgs..mmmm decisions decisions

Went to my 3rd class in a row tonite and I was tired and sore, as were the rest, luckily it was a team workout.

Started with a 500m row for time..only 2 girls there so I'm on the board again Miss Ford..with a time of 1:59 secs, the other girl clocked in at 2:01

Rob won it for the boys with 1:34. Amazing how knackered it makes you :evil:

Team workout:

3 in a team, break it up as you choose but only one team member working at a time,except for the run which you do together

Row 2000m (yeah good one after a hard out 500m row)

100 burpees

run 400m

50 pullups

run 400m

100 wall balls

2 teams and our team (2 girls 1 guy) took it out 21:34 to 21:44 (3 guys)

I was stuffed after.

Last class 9:15 tomorrow,I know it will be super hard cos there's no more classes til Monday and I'm not sure if I can cope with 4 in a row, but hey when you're hooked you're hooked :nod: :doh:

Fourth day in a row, Christmas Eve and he slaps us with the FILTHY F'N FIFTY

50 BOX JUMPS

50 JUMPING PULLUPS

50 KETTLEBELL SWINGS (16kg boys/12kg girls)

50 KNEE TO ELBOWS

50 WALKING LUNGES

50 PUSH PRESS (20kg boys/15kg girls)

50 GHD BACK EXTENSIONS

50 WALL BALLS

50 BURPEES (with pressup)

50 DOUBLE UNDER SKIPS

Took me 40 mins...40 minutes!!!!!!

but I did the whole workout to requirement no scaling no subbing :clap: \:D/ I thought that was good til I checked out the auckland crossfit website to see some chicks doing it sub 20 mins and most doing it in the 25-30 min window..oh shit that makes me feel suckful....but again something to aim for..when I can walk and move my arms again :pfft: :nod:

Chunder workout to the max, my head still hurts now.

Merry Christmas all...eat up and NO GUILT!!! =P~

ate up big yest, still at it today but stopped into the gym for a little workout.

Did the baseline workout so I have something i can do every couple of weeks and compare and get better at :pray: :pray: :pray:

400m run

40 squats

30 situps

20 pressups

10 pullups

took me 6mins 19 secs which puts me at Level 2 of 4 on the crossfit scale

1 being beginner and 4 being weapon of mass destruction

gotta do it in 4 mins to crack that level....yeah right :shifty:

then just practised someof the basics..kipping pullup,barbell thrusters, double under skips, deadlifts, sit ups and a few others

Class back on Monday, it was a lot harder without the competiton and encouragement of the others

Back to it today but I'm feeling decidedly sore in the joints, ankles and wrists in particular..it's quite punishing on them the ol crossfit... yeah I know harden up I hear you say :oops:

Gotta set some goals to work towards on my way to becoming a weapon of mass destruction :gunfire:

Yep, the joints take a hammering - but what doesn't kill ya makes ya strong :nod:.

Mind you, whoever said that left out about what doesn't kill ya still hurts like hell! :nod:

I suppose it'd be mean to remind you of this:

It's the New Years resolution that and stop drinking beer on Mondays :pfft:

Be careful. Your body needs rest time to adapt, too. It's not always about hardening up. Take it from the master, an injury is not something you want to deal with. Taking a light week or two to recover properly is much better than missing a few months of training because something tore.

Tough one today..maybe its the 2-3 kgs i put on from christmas? :? ..maybe its the heat? :? ..maybe its the no beers on Monday :nod: :pfft:

didn't push this one 25kgs, 35kgs, 55kgs, 65kgs, 65kgs

WOD

overhead squat (req 30 kgs for women) I managed 15kg :oops:

burpees

toes to bar

10reps,9reps,...down to 1

those workouts that look easy on the board are always the killers :evil:

Went fishing yest..got three fish not too bad, two kids spewing most of the morning..not too good :nod:

Because of the early start was nana napping til just before xfit last night, checked out the website when I woke in a daze and saw it was a hero workout..so I did the only thing i could..bailed and didn't go :shifty:

So went today instead

Strength: Shoulder press 4x 3reps

25kg, 30 kgs, 32.5 kg (on the Board Miss Ford..another womens strength record..for our centre anyways, don't scoff you other hard girl lifters),32.5

WOD

kettlebell swings 20 kg

ring dips (blue band, can't do them freestylez yet)

21reps, 15reps, 9reps

with 50 double under skips at the end of each round.

Took me 11:58 pretty good

Last class of the year tommorrow morning..bet its a nasty one like we had on Christmas eve :naughty: :pray:

Sleep in on New Years oh I wish..I have 3 kids and a hubby who's on night shifts for new years so my job is to remove the children once he gets home and let him sleep funfunfunfun..any suggestions? :?

For shoulder press you are lifting alot more than me miss! Last time I looked I was doing 20kg! :oops: and you're deads are nothing to be ashamed of either!!! :clap:

score is total number of reps completed...my score 213, I WON TODAY \:D/ :clap: and did it all as required

Nothing for the last two days, just walking/running the dog and swimming with the kids.

Started taking glucosamine, added it to the fish oil to see if that will help the niggling joints.

Trying to eat better too..all good til the late afternoon and evening when all the wheels fall off the wagon in true style :oops: :shifty: :banging:

Back to it tonight yayayay, although the right shoulder girdles still not 100%...damn kips

I did my measurements today..post Christmas and am pleased to say only put on 500gms and the only measurement changed was the butt, all the rest the same \:D/ \:D/

Yeah, I have that problem too - mostly after dinner. It's like once I've had my delicious dinner I just don't want to stop eating, even though I don't need any more - it just tastes good and I don't want to stop!
