trained again tonight...sore but scared..two weeks til regionals major need to haul arse

Strength: Front Squats 5x5 25kg, 35kg, 40kg, 40kg, 45kg x5 PB

Tried one @ 50kg but was tired by then :shifty:

WOD

20 double unders

8 power cleans @ 40kg

7 rounds for time

8:05 topped the day (boys and girls) yay..inspires a small amount of confidence :pfft:

DOn't use that 'd' word it's a 'lifestyle choice'....yea right :roll: .... how many times do you have to say it to believe it ???

It's ok actually have been pretty strict on myself, tho I think I'm overcompensating with a bit too much fat.

In saying that the weight is slightly down but lost 4cm off both waist and belly measurements this week so somethings happening

Ooops, my bad, you'd have thought I'd have learned that by now.... but maybe I should adhere to it as strictly as you do Nessie, 4cm losses is wicked good :)

And what an awesome workout, huge front-squats for reps, and a top finish ! Well done :salute:

Tonight

gymnastics stuff - trying hard to get the false grip for a muscle up...guessing its going to come out at the regionals but they're outa luck cos I can't do them :(

WOD

2 turkish getups/arm @ 16kg :shock: :shock: :shock:

6 burpees

12 min AMRAP

Got thru 4 rounds + 3 turkish get ups

So freakn heavy... what a struggle, almost dropped it on my head

21, 15, 9 reps for time

6:47 last time I did it in 6:59 so happy with the improvement

It never feels any easier tho...at one stage in the round of 15 I was just like "I can't..."

it is such a wipe out of a workout, thruster SUCK :evil:

Strength: Bulgarian squats 4 x 5reps my stability sucks so kept it ot 5kgs :oops:

WOD

15 kb swings @ 16kg

15 box jumps

15 pressups(comp standard - chest to ground release/raise hands @bottom)

5 rounds for time

only broke the pressups, all the rest unbroken...cept a trip on the box jump which nearly left something broken :shock: :pfft:

went and had a go at rope climbing yest wasn't too bad going up it's coming down you gotta watch ouch burny :evil:

Only a week to go now :shock: Apparently they will be releasing the first workouts in a day or so, yay extra stress as I see all the things I need to do that I can't...thank goodness for a team

deadlifts @ 55kgs

burpees

10 to 1 rep with 20 double unders between each round

finished in 10:40 was aiming for a sub 10 but kept tripping on the double unders :evil:

Workouts for next week have been announced - will be awesome to see the individual competitors slog it out..it's a real test of hardness!!!!

For the teams a bit disappointing, only 2 wods a day and some only for 1 man 1 woman, no whole team wods so it will be hard to get everyone having a fair go as well as making your team do the best.

1 wod in there made for me so I'll be happy

Strength - overhead squats 3x3 12.5kg, 15kg, 25kg

WOD - Nancy

run 400m

15 OHS @ 30kg (weight for games)

5 rounds

Well it was a DNF for me :cry: :cry: :oops:

OHS suck big time and I just couldn't handle the weight and gave up after 3 rounds...SUCKFUL and embarrassing...guess I won't be taking part in the comp wod that has OHS in it

Games WOD 4 me and hubby did it in a pair so 125 total/exercise

125 pull ups

125 kb swings

125 double unders his nemesis so I carried the load

125 overhead squat (men 42.5kg/girls 30kg) my nemesis so hubby carried the load here...nbt really a fair deal :pfft:

30 min time cap

took us the 30 mins and we were still on OHS (87 reps)

Tues

run 400m

20 push press (25kg)

20 box jumps (53cm)

3 rounds for time 12:13

Tonight

deadlift 70kg

burpees

21-15-9 reps for time

last night

strength: push press 4x3 15kg, 25kg, 30kg, 35kg

WOD

8 front squats (rx=40kg, I did 30kg)

10 ring press ups

7 rounds for time

took me 13;57...front squats suck boo

now my nutrition challenge is over

1 month no grains no sugar..I was good didn't have to pay the penalty (100 burpees, $40) once \:D/

finished 2.4 kgs less..bout 2% BF less

biggest losses 6cm off waist and 6cm off belly, 3cm off hips

pretty happy..haven't really had a desire to go back to the grains..had a bit of sugar..LOLLIES =P~ =P~ =P~ but will stick with this plan. It will just be nice to be able to cheat if I want.

First beer in a month tonight :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin:

and Mexican party Part 2 tommorrow :pfft: :pfft: :pfft: :pfft:
