Up at 5am back to work boohoo

Tonights training

Strength: Back squat 5reps x 25kg, 5 x30, 3 x40, 3 x 45, 1 x 50kg, 1x55kg

WOD

burpees

sit ups

ring dips

10 reps of each down to 1 rep for time

13 mins something rx'd

although my ring dips left a little to be desired, not quite kosher might have to go back to the bands and get the form nailed down

Nice work.... I can only salute anyone who can do ring dips at all, the only times I've tried them it has been a spectacular, comical splattering failure :oops: :nod:.

Hope the first day back wasn't too much of a shock :D

Thanks TFB, two days down and still standing!!!

Tonight was a hard and intense one but I went too light and now I'm mad with me

WOD

JT

12 deadlift

9 hang power clean

6 push jerk

(rx= M 70kg, W 45kg) I did 30 kg

5 rounds for time

Took me 7:30 shoulda done at least 35kgs,

made a dumb mistake too of using the guys 20kg bar which has a thicker bar and cos this was such a forearm centred workout once i had finished I couldn't make a fist and my hands were all tingly from screwed pumped forearms oh well :shifty:

Good news \:D/ :grin: I won a comp on Go figure website for mighty morph pre workout drink yayay lookout now mighty morphin power crossfitter on the loose and comin your way soon :pfft: :oops:

Just curious, why don't you use the 20kg bar all the time Miss? :shifty:

We have womens bars that weigh 15 kgs and they have a smaller/thinner bar which is just easier to grip for those of us with wee little hands, spose i'd get used to the mens bar if i used them all the time but just gives the forearms too mean a pump and makes for major grip issues.

Will def have a go with big big big scoop of morph just to see how hyped i can get :pfft: , prob be like an adhd kid who takes ritalin it'll have the opp effect and i'll go slow cos i'm naturally pretty hyped

Todays workout

strength shoulder press - pass me... has sore shoulders

WOD

run 400m

30 kb swings 16kgs

30 knees to elbows (hanging)

run 800m

30 kb swings

30 knees to elbows

run 400m

Did it rx and it took me 16 or 17 mins..bit bummed cos my running was pretty good and did both sets of kettlebells unbroken but I have no abs so the knees to elbows took a freakn long time grrr :evil:

First session back @ crossfit with my lovely boys tommorrow..moan f%*k moan f^&k moan will be all i hear

WOD

50 barbell thrusters 15kgs

30 pull ups

The boys worked in pairs while I did it solo, one pair beat me by about 30 secs (questionable counting??)

Took me 10:05 rx

I'm pretty tired now, been up at 5am every morning walking and running with the dog, back at work + 5 crossfit sessions. :doh: ..might be a sleep in and rest day tommorrow :pray:

Strength - Overhead Squat..an exercise i normally run from but managed good depth and uprightness with 20kgs today..progress

This morning was a team workout - 3 per team

6x sprints

50 wall balls

50 pull ups chest to bar

20 mins AMRAP

Our team managed 2 rounds + sprints & 25 wall balls

Then I went a got my morph prize so look forward to "speeding" thru next few weeks workouts... :grin:

Wicked Nessie...saw these on You Tube the other day :shock: ..as well as upper body strength you would need a good core stability too.

Tried the mighty morph before the workout today..just one scoop for the first time..didn't really feel jack so it'll be doubleees tommorrow

Strength: Front Squat 4x5 reps 20kg (wup), 30 kg, 40 kg, 50 kgs (x2)

WOD

run 800m

pull ups

pressups

21 reps, 15 reps,9 reps

run 400m

Did it in 10:05..coulda done sub 10 but heaps of people meant a wee wait for a space on the bars for pullups..all good, will be easier to improve next time it comes around :pfft:

Today

STrength- Clean 4 x 3 25kg, 35kg, 40 kg

WOD - Nasty girls (haha crack up name huh)

50 squats

7 muscle ups (I can't do these..well no one really can yet cept 1 guy so I do them from kneeling off the ground)

10 hang cleans (rx= 45kgs i did 35 kg)

3 rounds for time

I cracked it in 9:56 woohoo.

Took 2 scoops of morph today and was tingling hard out and sweating like a pig...not sure about it :shock: :?

Slowly ? SLOWLY? Sorry, not buying it :snooty: You're kicking Ass with a capital A!! You're at 86% of BW for fronts, which %-wise is more than me (81%) ..... Be proud of what you can do! :nod:

Today....SMASHED IT BRO 9:40 booyah I'm stoked and I had to walk a coupla times on the run.. the ol girl still got it :pfft: :pfft:

Last fri of the month...it can only be CROSSFIT TOTAL time

back squat - 55kg (prev PB), 60 kg, 62.5 kg (New PB yayay)

shoulder press - 32.5 kg (prev PB and still boohoo) failed 2x @ 35kg

deadlift - 90 kg (prev PB), 100 kg new PB, failed @ 105kg

so last month my total was 177.5kg which was no change from first month but this month total was 195 kgs so I'm happy :grin:
