Crossfit Challenge

Oh my....did two laps of the footy field

First lap just high handle push took 4:30ish and had to stop twice heaving for breath

Second lap high handle push on long side of field and low handles across width of field had to stop at least five times and it took about 6:30

The low handles suck it's so hard on the arse

Then at the end did three sumo walking backwards pulling shuttles with low handles pushing back only about 20m long

Back to it today

Weighted pullups 5x3 body weight x2, 5kgs, 10 kgs (was PB) 15 kgs x1 new PB :grin:

WOD

7 push press (30kg)

7 burpee box jump

7 wall balls

7 deadlifts (30kg)

12 mins AMRAP

I did 5 + push press at rx

Hard out and intense but good to be back :D

Strength: Back Squats 4x 3reps 30kg, 40kg, 50kg, 50kg

WOD

power clean 35kgs

pull ups

kettlebell swings 16 kgs

21, 15, 9 reps

I did it rx in 10:04

pretty happy with that,all three exercises stung the forearms

Trying to approach it with a more focused attitude, was a bit loose before, lots of joking around and stuff :haha: :naughty: , I think and need to be a tad more serious

Wow - great slogans! Just don't tell my trainer, I'll get them thrown at me as I'm lying there stapled to the floor by the bar!

Wicked work-out too... big squats followed by a great WOD :clap: :clap:

If you're going that well now, just imagine how you'll do when you get your "race face" on! :shock:

Strength: Shoulder Press 4x 3 20kg, 25kg, 30 kg, 30kg

WOD "Michael"

run 800m

50 GHD back extensions

50 situps

3 rounds for time

I did it in 25:46....really happy cos last time I did it in November it took me 30 mins so 5 mins knocked off is good :grin: :clap:

Cheers...wish I could say that was the extent of my birfday treats but HELL NO!!!!

Today is a mammoth WOD proudly named "Eat all Day!!"

Started with brekkie fresh pawpaw, pineapple and mango, grapefruit juice, bacon, mushrooms, french toast with maple syrup, bagels wth cream cheese and jam...all courtesy of my super hubby and kids \:D/ :clap:

Then visited for morning tea by friends bearing gifts and bakery stuff so rude to say no :pfft:

Grazed on that thruout the day, now just waiting for my Chinese dinner and Cheescake shoppe cake...booyah I luff birfdays =P~ :grin: :grin: :grin:

Obiously no crossfit today :doh:

Yes normal programming resumed this morning. Went to xfit @ 630am...

Strength Deadlift 5x 3reps 30kg, 40, 50, 70, 80kg

WOD

15 kettlebell swings 16kg

15 push press 30 kg

20 double unders

5 rounds for time

Took me 17:44

Some definite slowing time down with the double unders..just can't seem to string more than 3 or so together. :evil:

That along with the flab wobble from yesterdays eating made for fun time

Going away for a coupla nites yay

Hey hey..back after a lovely couple of days away at the beach

Today

Strength: Front Squats 3x3 30 kg, 40 kg, 50 kg

WOD "Nate" :shock: :shock: :roll: :doh: (I think this is one of the hardest hero workouts and the hero workouts are harder than normal workouts hence this workout was hard to the power of f#@kn hard!!!!! x infinity)

2 muscle ups (can't do these so did the progression from underneath off the knees)

4 Hand stand push ups (can't do full ones of these either so did 1/2 HSPU's)

8 Kettlebell swings @ 24 kgs (almost 1/2 my weight so these sucked too)

20 mins AMRAP...well none of it was really possible so I say as many rounds as passable

I managed 13 rounds would be happy if it was possible to be happy after such a sucky can't do most of it crap workout

Todays session was 10m shuttles horns on the way out low bar on the way back 10m, 20m, 30m DIE!!!!!

Then sumo squat pull out low handle push back, 10m, 20m ,30m SPEW then DIE

Repeat the above, but with more stopping, spewing and dieing :pfft:

Cool down of 10m push each for the length of footy field then 10m pull each back

Quads anyone :madman:

Hubby did his with my 58kgs on board..hats off to you hunny :crazy: :crazy:

tonites workout last done 8th Jan this year and took 13:22 mins

Strength: Push jerk 4 x3 reps 20 kg, 30 kg,, 40 kg fail on 45kg

WOD

run 400m

21 pull ups

21 wall balls

run 400m

15 pullups

15 wall ball

run 400m

9 pull ups

9 wall balls

Time tonight 11:02 so knocked nearly 2:30 mins off my time \:D/

and I was the only girl there :doh: and didn't come last :clap:

Fourth day in a row, feeling tired and sore so didn't even try to rx it just did it lite

WOD

50 double unders

40 box jumps

30 push press (rx= 30 kgs i did 20 kg)

20 squat cleans (ditto above )

10 burpees

2 rounds for time

Took me 17:12 or something like that. 2nd finished, coulda done the rx, maybe shoulda but didn't so that's the way it rolls

Boooooyah 8am Sat morning arrive to find

WOD = EVA!!!!!

Fortunately we could do it in pairs...thank goodness

5 rounds for time

800m run (400m run each)

30 kb swings 20 kgs (15)

30 pull ups (15)

so we split it (as above)

took me and my mighty partner 31 mins....intense but good

Hats of to Josh and Johnny who were doing it solo rx and were still at it when I left..Yayay boys!!!!

Now off to the movies with the kids :grin: :grin:
