Bonus workout today- a whole lot of light bodyweight stuff for reps. Tried to keep rests as short as possible which made it fairly exhausting!

Chin-ups: Sets of 5 for a total of 75

Pushups: Sets of 10 for a total of 100

Crunches: Sets of 20 and 10 for a total of 100

Face-pulls: Sets of 10 for a total of 40

Upper back, shoulders, scapula area and traps are absolutely blasted from heavy push pressing yesterday. New favourite exercise!

Missed two workouts earlier this week due to being busy as with assignments. Today was pretty good though, strength is still on the rise. Should be good for a 95kg bench soon by the way things are going, 100kg by the end of year easy. :pray: hope so anyway!

Yeah shoulder pains. Not like DOMS but sharp 'not the good kind' of pain. But they are feeling much better now than they ever have before which is good.

Yeah, I know the exact feeling. It definitely gets better with time. It's better to start off with unweighted dips to get the technique down and once that's good you're away. Good that it's getting better though.

Ah thanks bro that makes a lot of sense actually. I pretty much started doing weighted dips as soon as I could do five BW reps or so. Lately switched back to bodyweight and it feels much better. I will reintroduce weight once I can get maybe 15-20 easy bodyweight reps.

Yeah that's good. I find I get a better pump as well with the higher reps on dips. Good luck in reaching that!

Training was terrible today, haven't felt this weak in a long time. Realised it from the first set, and treated today like a deload just to keep things ticking over.

Damn man, I think I need to up my workout intensity and start lifting heavier weight. I'm still struggling to consistently hit 90kg bench. I will post up a video in the playground later so you can have a laugh at my latest attempt :shifty:

The sickness turned into a chest infection, possibly bronchitis. Couldn't see a doctor because of Queens birthday yesterday so f*ck it. I felt better today anyway, just coughing up huge lumps and generally a bit under the weather.

Dying to get back into the gym after such a frustrating last couple of weeks.

Did some bodyweight stuff today and it went well which was encouraging. :nod: Took it nice and easy.

Did a few sets of bench today but felt very weak. Will do some token squats tomorrow, then write off this micro cycle as a un-planned deload and start again. BW is also down about 1.5kg having had no appetite the last few days.

Not much energy today. Cut it short after push presses damn near killed me!
