You should have posted them as a new topic in the Photo forum, Rimma. Then lots more people (eg, me!) would have seen them, and you could have been in for Photo of the Month.

Anyway, you're looking good. Lean bulk sounds like a good plan - but you decided that nearly a month ago now anyway! :P

As for putting them in the pics section...I don't think they will be winning prizes any time soon! Having said that, I will make you a deal. In November this year, if my 'lean bulk' goes well, I will post pics in the pictures section as a two years of progress comparison. Happy? :grin:

Yup nice work on your PB dude :clap: I don't know what the advantages are of seated vs standing, I just know that seated are harder! Well for me anyway :D

Thanks MG. Some saying its harder some saying its easier...I don't know what to think! Will have to give it a go when I join a gym.

I prefer seated cos I feel more stable and I am so much stronger in this position. I guess because I don't have to use any stabilizers when doing seated press. I do standing every now and sometimes do push press also but with the heavier weights I just feel better doing seated.

Interesting- I would like to give it a go seated but I don't have a power rack, so I have to clean the bar from the floor. I started push pressing recently so I can get the numbers up a bit :lol:

Did some quite heavy labouring today so my deadlifts this evening didn't stand a chance. :cry:

Decided to write off this session as a bit of a deload.

No records but for front squats I did some fairly comfy bodyweight reps which is a first.

140kg x 1 should be easy but felt like a 1rm attempt haha :oops:

Yep I am being consistent. I haven't wavered from 5/3/1 since December and I'm really enjoying it. Very slow and steady gains in strength and size.

One day you'll get a deadlift vid SFS...

Have been crook for the last few days, got some fast and furious virus. Had no appetite and felt absolutely wasted like whole-body DOMS :x

Went in for a train today looking to get the bare minimum done. Was amazed to have a great workout, felt really strong and hit my goals on everything!

Changed my squatting up a bit today. Had been getting into almost "breathing squats" with long gaps between reps lately so decided to tighten that up. Only one breath between reps now, keep it continuous for a more accurate max set.

Good work bro, good to see your lifts progressing! You'll find as you strengthen your hamstrings, your deadlift will go up quite a bit! RDL's, good mornings etc.

Also good to see that you noticed your bent over rows were getting a bit ugly, that will happen when you start to fail... just make sure they're bent rows and not shrugs :pfft:

Cheers Rook. I have never done any assistance exercises for hamstrings except for good mornings for a few weeks ages ago. I'm thinking I might include RDL's in my next assistance template.

Yeah I'm watching form on the rows too. Getting a slight bit of body english :lol:
