Back to the calender issue, just read on the NZFBB website that it's going to be MID Jan before the Calender will be out!!!! Surely not, alot of us need to get leave in by Feb or it's a no go next year.

It's quite dissapointing as we want to plan our year ahead and Nabba NZ and Nabba Australia have both got their calendars out. Mind you last year NZFBB changed the date and place for the Nationals 2 months before they were to be held. I think they are waiting for Moe to get back to the country.

Just wondering why we have a president who is the only one who makes the decisions out of the country more than in it.

i seem to recall many competitors promised payments for attending the nats not being paid as Moe was out of the country for a long time.

Maybe next elections someone more suitable might be appointed not just someone whos recognisable or achieved great results for himself maybe someone who is more accessible and actually not always unavailable.

Oops sorry i forgot Moe got in as the only person to put his name in the ring

I personally am hoping come next elections a few others will decide to try for president and people will decide on who actually will be around to make decisions and has the time and effort to be available and also will not make contraversial decisions without consulting others.

Im not a Moe fan after seeing the way he ran the nationals by being late for the evening show and the poor way it was run. ive seen local shows run so much more efficiently.Theres such a thing as delegation if you dont have time and i think hes just too busy with other matters to give the presidency of NZFBB the time it deserves.

I think that you find that now he is in it's going to be really hard to remove him.

He will go when he's ready, I can't see anyone in NZ opposing him.

I heard a rumour that Moe wants to get rid of the rejoining rule for NZFBB if you do a Nabba show. Would be a positive step forward for competitors who want to compete in as many shows as they can whilst in shape.

That would be nice but I can't see it happening. IFBB seem to be pretty staunch about that sort of thing.

I think you might find this will be a goer.

It certainly doesn't happen over here in Australia.

Once you join the IFBB in Australia you are free to do any IFBB show in that 12mth period.

The major reason that it is not enforced over here is because no one can be fucked chasing it up.

To enforce the rule means that someone in the IFBB would have to monitor every NABBA comp so as to find out which IFBB competitors have defected to NABBA.

I hardly think Moe would be bothered chasing stuff like this up.

You will find that it will be dropped due to laziness more than anything else.

Whatever way it happens, it will be a good thing for NZ competitors.
