Nice one mate! I particularly like the soundproofing on the walls - is that to spare the neighbours your PB celebrations? :P

the nearest neighbor isa good km away, so yes :)

mean maori mean, that means you might be able to pull 200kg for a single do you reckon?

quick update.

got 80kilo on the front squat today, but Im not ready for it.lol. balance was off and felt heavy. needa couple more weeks @ 75ish. shit weight but working on it.

My back is still giving me trouble at times, but havent seen the chiropracter for a couple weeks.

Also cycled in a leg press over a bb lunge, second week in. Managed 200x6, drop setting that.

Finished off with a couple iso exercises for quads n hams and them curled out sum guns. :naughty:

Going to give a physio a crack. back still jaming up a bit did back squats 2day, first time in ages, back join would jam up in the hole, not flexable at all! did a few sets of 100x12, felt good, but some serious niggles going on.

Been lifting 4x a week and cricket training 2x a week, gana sneak in some cardio to get a bit fitter n more mobile for summer, altered diet slightly too. a bit less starch and more vegtables. today:

5:30-Oats, raisins, cashew/brazilian nuts, bannana, protein shake

8:00-Chicken breast, couple yams, beans, broccoli/tomato/cucumber salad, some cashew n brazilian nuts.

10:15-Chicken breast, couple yams, beans, broccoli/tomatoe/cucumber salad, some cashews n brazilian nuts.

12:30-half chicken breast, beans, broccili/tomatoe/cucumber salad

3:00-protien shake n bannana

5:00-protien shake n bannana

6:30-can of tuna n tomatoes

8-9-proli a chicken breast with salad and cashew nuts.

Glad its Friday.

Recently Ive noticed my right lats seems to extend further down my back, and is a little bigger than the left...Over/under hand deadlifts? I do:

bb rows

pull ups

pulldowns

deadlifts or rack pull

as my core exercises and might do a

db rows

seated cable row now n then

thoughts?

I don't know of any studies done into it and it is more than likely from that but things like nerve damage or having a dominate side can contribute. If the left is still growing, just not at the same rate, than it would probably be the deads with an staggered grip

apart from rotating my grip or bust out the straps, what would you suggest?

Maybe some uni lateral training, so more of those DB rows. I would strap up too. Unless you are a PLer/SM, to me, grip strength isn't that important

yea will. I just noticed recently. Just now, asked the mrs what if she could tell if one side was bigger n she laughed and said "yip heaps" Fucken pissed off.

Oh well, new goals to achieve.

Oh my heck MK I just been to a chinese medicine acupuncture guy for my back and I fully think you should give it a go!! I am feeling the best I have felt in a whole year and I only just been half an hour ago. He put needles in my legs and massged my arse for lyk half an hour (yeh I know weird huh) and some of the spots were so painful. He kinda manipulated down my spine and could straight away tell me where I had pain and doing what and could push on teeny tiny spots and nearly make me cry they were so painful and I didnt know they were there!! :shock:

Shame you not in aucks coz my guy seriously knows his shit!! I think you should try it anyways. Anyways hope you get better soon i know what its like to keep trying and nothing works. It sux bum :?

I seen a pysio the other day n she said my mobility was realy good( i thought was shit) rubbed my spine hard for a bit and wacked a needle in the side of my back. I feel alot beter! Was still getin a bit of jamming doing squats the next day, but havent had any dull all day pain. back again 2mrw.

Ima bust out some dumbell rows. start with the weak side and match the reps with the stronger side? or do a few extra reps on my shit side?

Physio would be your best bet since this is a muscular issue

I would go with just matching your weak side reps than doing more on the weak side

Hey MK, if you get down to Dunners, you might want to see about getting an appointment with Sonny Chin, he's into the same stuff as Peachy's fella (not sure about the butt rubs though :shock: ). The man is a fucken miracle-worker with backs, but be warned, he won't be gentle.
