Squat and dead 1rm test

westgate club phys today....churr Tomsammce, dicided to test here because i had to be in the area at the time anyway

tested solo today. I pretty much had no spotter avail for squats so just ran with it anyway..f*ck, who cares.

weigh in 128kgs, strong carb load night before..was 127.3 :pfft:

squats belt n wraps

1st: 162.5

2nd: 182.5 PB

3rd: 202.5 just abit high

abit bummed but at the sametime i know the power is there to lock out the weight. i only managed to get the 3rd attempt on vid so ill post it up later on

Deadlifts

1st 220kgs

2nd: 262.5kgs

3rd: 302.5kg PB

that about sums it up, abit stuffed so ill do a more detailed report later on with vid

Your living proof powerlifting builds muscle bro ... some good thickness observed when you see where you started from ... :nod:

Awesome vid bro, loved seeing the journey! Great effort with that 300 and our squats so close!! Probably would have got it if there was someone spotting just for confidence. You're plenty strong enough.

but yea, time to get back into the Yeti mode. Have decided to rerun another 12 weeker of metal militia bench programme. finally sussed my 2" and 3" board with a 4" board in the makes i have pretty much have all i need to run the programme i just need a bench worthy of it.

Im abit lost as to what to run along side with the programme for deadlifts and squats..will need to get the coaches input on that one. my main 2 focuses will be bench and squats

but for now bench 5RMs
