week summary

Pretty fucking average tbh, ive spent the last 4-3 days with a stomache ache/head cold. took everything under the sun to get rid of it and wasnt helpin, brought out the apple cider as a last ditch effort b4 bed last night. woke up feeling awsome...im never doubting that shit again!. Ive ramped up the eating to compensate just keeping the calories and good fats rolling in and keepin the fluids up

been revising openers for the comp nxt week and should see me hittin some big PBs hopefuly, can never tell till your under that bar on the day thou.

Cambridge novice comp results

weighed in 9am @ 135 bang on the dot

squats

Opener 150kgs (3 whites)good lift

2nd attempt 170kgs PB (2w1r)good lift :twisted:

3rd attempt 180kgs (1w2r) no lift depth but not much in it

bench

1st 125kgs (3 whites)

2nd 127.5kgs (3whites)

3rd 132.5 (3 reds)

deadlifts

1st 240kg (2w1r) right side came up slower than the right still got a good lift

2nd 260kgs (3 whites)

3rd 272.5kgs (2w1r) good lift and a PB! :twisted: had it in me for a 280 but happy with acheivin my 11 month goal which has been a 2x bw pull, so really stoked :clap:

total 570kgs placing 1st in the 125+ class

42.5kg kilo gain from the last 8 week cycle

higlights: def the highlight of the day for me was seeing "the"Oldbull in action and finally meeting some of the powerhouse boys. all the CBC crew taking a placing in there weight classes and smashing new PBs

big thanks to steak & bar-belle for for coaching me thru the last comps and putting up with my smack-o-mouth ;P, Another thank you for SFS for running my attempt cards again just one less thing to worry about and just SFW! and to Morattigirl for taking all the filming and pictures of the days events. big thanks to CBC for letting me lift for them again

Wicked shit there J, you'll nail that 180 squat next time for sure 200 in sights now aye, bench..well not fussed aye. What you say... Bench is a rest between squats and deads :pfft: and agreed you would have got that 280 dead easy but all the same 272.5 was still a PB and thats still meke!!
