Trained up with the Beast from the Coast today at CBC with my brother in law. awsome day as usuall.. The brother smashed the dead lift platform pulling 180 on deads for the 1st time, we'll make a PLer outta him yet

eats are still up...more so on the carbs end, past couple weeks id be going thru 4-6 banana during a workout..slowly bringing them now

here was tonight feed

having abit of trouble gettin down in the squats today some reason my right knee decided not to co-operate with me so chucked in the low box to force myself down. dont think its too big a deal. perhaps early nervs? *shrug*

OB,steak,VP,SFS cheers fellas...its time to see if all the aches pains, dizzy spells, cronic eating to the wee hrs of the morning. pay off 2mr. and rumor has it one of my heroes maybe commin to sneak a peak, so Nervs are pretty much gone, Im just battle anxious now! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: i plan to bend some iron to my will

today

20 mins of bike and walking on the treadmill to loosen up the body

30mins foam rolling the hips, back and lower back

then 30 mins stretching calves, hams, quads, back, lower back, peck, and shoulders

i followed that up with a upper crust steak and cheese pie :twisted:

Results to the auckland uni novice powerlifting champs

all raw belt and wraps

Squats

Opener: 120 nice and deep 3 whites

2nd: 140 white 3 whites

3rd: 170 3 reds just could quite get to lock out

total:140

bench

opener: 115 3 whites

2nd: 120 3 whites

3rd 127.5 3 PB and 3 whites

total: 127.5

Deadlift

open: 220 good lift nice and fast

2nd 240 good lift

3rd 260 good lift and PB :twisted: , at this point of time it was necessary to give an ode to wookie. i pulled the sock down and dropped the "calf shot" :pfft: :pfft: :pfft:

total 260

Resulting in a: 527.5kg total which got me placing 2nd to steak in the 125+

wanna thank Damo and Rach and team coast, the handlers SFS and ross, tonka, VP,Tinytraps with the spotting, Pman. the APA and alk uni for puttin up a well run event with 30+ lifters and my family for comming down to support me. was an awsome experience to compete on the platform and i can forsee many more to come \:D/
