Awesome community here, and set up really well, it definitely feels "Safe" to speak up here than anywhere else I've looked, and whats even better is its NZBB! love ya work!

k...

this might be long..or short - Depends on how my mind and fingers go in typing this out, so up front, sorry if it babbles on, I'll do my best to keep it fresh, because I have been reading up on hows and whys and whats to do in BodyBuilding, I know it can be a little frustrating for some when somebody asks questions that have been answered a million times in previous forums...so I've done my best over the week to sift through them :)

so to start with, I'm very underweight and unfit for my age/height 28 yrs old and 80kgs at 5ft 11. or probably 6ft...around that mark...

i know gross. For years and years I've wanted to fill out more. Finally getting pro active about it now, I have more time on my hands for starters. I have a high motabolism....and struggle to eat as often as it says you should. get the three meals in and snack alot

I've been reading thru your guys journals and diets, I've yet to write up a weekly thing on meals and what i will eat. At the moment, i just eat anything. Just for the sake of eating. Or mainly snacking. also I get confused due to the fact I'm not sure what to be consuming in order to achieve massiveness...or...just to get leaner because of the way my body is... I dont want to be wasting my time on something that wont be any good for me....or in other words...take me to that zone i want to be in

Have yet to join a gym, I've been looking and a lot of people here seem to point out les mills? if my memory serves right aye

Do you have to be fit to do BodyBuilding? I have an idea that you would to a certain degree right? I want to get bigger and then take up a martial arts or some kind...leaning towards kickboxing/boxing..but think MMA is the shiate and would love to get into that

Sorry about not knowing all my stats on fat % and muscle...or how much carbs and things I get in me etc...thats all apart of the learning for me, watching what i eat etc...

I guess the question I would start off with is...what supplements would/should I be looking at getting? what foods...is it the same kind as you? does anyone else here have to work harder because of high motabolism and that thin build? I want to start straight away, but no idea where or what to do. I'm thinking someones gonna say...yeah go out at EAT...I'm on it lol

Also, I dont really need to ask this now untill later on when I'm close to getting the size i want to be (it feels impossible right now to get there) but how would you regulate your size? do u cut down on training and etc..or still go hard but differently...

anyway, more questions will come up and I thank yas for your comments in advance, I'm keen and open minded about what I need to do. Just need direction

chur!

hi t!!

everyone starts somewhere....write down where you are now and then what your goals are.....

choose a good gym that is convenient.......sounds like youve been doing some research which is a good start....try to find a trainer thats got something similar to offer in the way of achieving your goals.....

if youve done no training its going to be important not to blow apart in the first few months....small steps maybe weights every other day and cardio in between......2 or 3 rest days each week

if your really serious about making progress then you need to put as much time into your diet as you do into training.....dont worry about supplements apart from say shakes....maybe a multi vitamin.....but figure out what you need to eat (calories and macros) and monitor things as its impossible to say exactly what you need to eat....and it needs to change over time

see ya, have fun

Welcome Teaks.

Definitely take it easy at first. So many dudes I know say they ‘used’ to do weights. And now they just watch TV all night. They start off with weights and cardio everyday and stock up on heaps of expensive supplements. After 6 months they don’t see the results they expected, they are exhausted and just give up.

So as roadie says, start with your plan. Because you are in for the long haul buddy!

we all gotta start somewhere mate, i was obese in my younger years, alot different now.

research is king! - the more knowledge you can amass about what nutrition and training will help you reach youre goals, the better. running a journal is great, as they are a huge part of this forum. you post up all your eats and training, youll get regular feedback and advice.

dont be scared to ask q's, constructive questions get constructive answers!
