Looks like you need to have a journal to be in with the cool crew so here I am.

About me:

182cm Tall

Weight (Today) 112kg

Would love to tell you what I am training for but I don't really know myself. I am really a bber but have been doing a bit of strenth training latley and some strongman events for fun. I have a great training partner who is a top NZ bodybuilder and has a done a few strongman comps in his time too.

I am currently training at eastside barbell club with the likes of Nurse squat, Mikezero and Luigi.

Anyways trained back yesterday.

Walk around the block to start :pfft:

Deadlifts

8 x140

8x 180

8x 240 (To failure)

Wide grip Lat pulldowns

15x 160lb

10x 280lb

8x 300lb Few assisted reps at the end

T-Bar rows

12x 3plates

10x 5plates

8x 6plates with a few assisted reps

Close Grip Pulldowns superset with shrugs

2*300lb x 10 P/D + 10x 80kg shrugs

Rack pulls

This is with lats flared and a wide grip. Empasis only on the lats

10x 60

10x 100

8x 140

8x140 superset with barbell shurgs 140kg x 15reps.

Just getting back on the horse after a month or so sick. Two more weeks of 80% training then back into it full steam. At this point I will add some more calories to my diet.

What does the iniation involve?

Your not going to make me squat nude like you made Luigi the other day. That was too far man. How about 12000 calories in a day for iniation?

Wednesday

Just crusing today.

Cleans from knee hight with the axle bar.

6x70kg dropset 6x60kg

This bar is very fat. I am not sure of exact dimentions but i can just get my hand around it. It has no nailing in it and is powder coated, very hard to hold.

Side laterals superset with rear laterals

3x 12x15kg

Cable bicep curls

I did 5 sets adding two plates at a time (not sure of the weight on this machine)

Seated dumbell curls

12x15kg

12x17kg

Rack pulls (knee cap hight) with... axle bar

6x100kg

6x140kg

4x180kg

2x220kg

1x240kg

8x180kg

These are insanly hard to grip, using chalk makes it harder as it just slips on the powder coat. Happy to hold onto 240kg I would say I am at least 100kg weaker using this bar.

In three weeks time I have been challenged to lift 300kg for a deadlift by one of the guys at the club. At this point we are similar strenth in deads so will be interesting to see who can get it up. Plan is to keep reps for deads above 6. I feel this will build strenth for them better than reps of 2 or 4.

Our standard Eastside initiation is bench pressing your bodyweight as many times as you can and then running 5 km. There is a similiar event at the Arnold Classic.

We have decided to give you a bit more time to work on your bench press bro. :nod:

Could do the bench but he would never make the 5km run. :lol:

Dr Squat, would you stop recruiting members for your club from my gym, ther's only a couple of small boys left me & BigMD :pfft:
