what is your weight at the moment doc?

About 104 kg. Trying to get a bit leaner! :pfft:

you are a powerlifter..right? :pfft: :pfft: :pfft: if your competing what weight class would you try and fit in?

I think you would say that I used to be a powerlifter. Now I am a raw powerlifter/bench presser/non competing bodybuilder. Basically I want to be huge and strong. I don't really care about fitting into a weight class. At the moment I would be in the 110 kg class with room to grow into the class. The only powerlifting thoughts I have are for raw (as in no supportive equipment).

No idea mate but it's fair to say I am not lean. :pfft: After the Eastside raw comp on 28 November I will probably have a bit of a think about where I am headed. I would like to "clean things up a bit" and get a bit closer to being in shape (whatever that means!).

If I ever did go on stage in my undies, I wouldn't want to be one of those guys who faded away and entered a shrinking contest. To me bodybuilding is about being huge. In shape but huge.

So mate it's a work in progress. As I said I want to big strong and huge and this keeps my options open.

Nothing too special mate. We are 24 hours to members who have their own keys. But I am there from about 4 pm to 7 pm week days and 9 am to 12 pm on the weekends. I usually train at 4 ish on the week days and 10 am on Saturday.

Wednesday 28 October 2009- Upper Back

Wide grip pulldowns 160x10 200x10 240x8x2 260x6 280x6

Bent over barbell rows 60x10 100x8 120x8 140x6 120x8

HS chest supported 80x10 120x10 140x8x2

Wide grip cable rows 78x15 90x15 101x15

Behind neck pulldowns 140x10 160x10 140x10

My back felt strong and the pump was good. Intense workout with limited rest between sets.

Friday 30 October 2009- Shoulders

Smith machine behind neck press 40x10x2, 60x10x2, 70x8x2, 60x10x2

BB front press (seated) 40x10, 60x10, 70x8, 80x8x2, 60x15

DB front raises 15x10x4

Seated DB side laterals 10x10 12.5x10, 15x8, 17.5x8, 20x6, 25x6

Rear cable side laterals 3 sets

Good intense workout. I have a dislike for the SM at present. I might start with BB front press next week and see how heavy I can go.

My identity crisis runs very deep. Like Arnold said regarding Franco "he needs all of the help he can get"!

Saturday 31 October 2009- Arms

Elbows and forearms still a bit sore so took had a light session. The goals was to just pump some blood into the bis and tris. Achieved this so pleased. No pressing for tris today. Need to look after myself if I am going to get that 200 kg raw bench. 4 weeks today. Excited. :)

Tricep pushdowns- 10 sets of 10

Incline BB tricep extension- 5 sets of 15

Reverse tricep pushdowns superset with standing rope extensions- 4 sets

Seated alternate DB curls- 4 sets

DB Hammer curls- 4 sets

Standing cable curls- 4 sets

Cheat day today. Maccas for lunch. :pfft:

Monday 2 November 2009- Posterior Chain

Quick workout today as had to go to a meeting. Pleased to get a new PB in safety squat (SS) bar box squat. 280 kg including the chain weight at the top. I will break this next week. Focusing on speed in the deadlifts.

SS bar box squat- 60x5x2, 100x5x2, 140x5, 140+40kg chains x3, 180+40kg chains x3, 220+40kg chains x1, 240+40kg chains x1.

Deadlifts (speed) 6 singles on 190kg.

Glute ham raises 4x8.

Tuesday 3 November- Chest

Incline bench press 2x60x10, 80x8, 100x8, 120x6, 140x6

Felt a little out of the groove but getting back up there.

Bench press 60x10, 100x8, 140x12 120x10

Pleased to get 140 for 12 after doing incline first. Rose, I think there is even video evidence coming. :)

Chest press 40x10, 60x10, 80x8, 60x10

Incline chest press 40x10, 80x10, 110x10

Cable crossovers 5 sets

Wicked pump and some decent numbers. 200 kg raw is on the cards in 4 weeks. Light weight baby...

Hey "Doc" great work there, more importantly I am really looking forward to you bringing out those abbs in 12 weeks. You must have a well developed core from all that heavy lifting you do. Can't wait bro!
