Ok so today was the first day in the gym for the new year, it seemed rather busy considering it is still holiday time. Also the first day of my new programme, even though i only sorted exercises for today's session... looks like i got some work ahead of me :lol:

Maintained weight through the new year break, even though the food I was eatting was shocking and i drank a lil bit on New years Eve as I'm sure we all did. 82.15kg

Chest

Bench Press 60kg 12, 80kg 12, 85kg 12

DB Decline Press 25kg 12/3

DB Incline Flies 20kg 12/3 (harder than what i thought)

Triceps all new exercises that i have never done before.

DB Lying Overhead Press 12.5kg 12/3

Cable Press Downs 90lbs (40.9kg) 12/3

Cable Reverse Pulldowns 20kg 12/3 (Why is this one so hard?)

Food for this week will be back to normal as of tomorrow.

how much tuna do u reckun u eat in a week? this aint a criticism but are u aware about the mercury content in tuna?

about 8tins a week, 2tins 4days a week. No i didn't know about that, it must be at safe level or they wouldn't be aloud to sell it..? i look at protein and then the flavours :roll:

yeah thats true, but i dont even think that stuff is chicken :pfft: , it tastes like tuna and its a "product of thailand". just a bit dodgy

BTW the Cable Reverse Press downs is single hand/arm.

Right today was shoulders also chopped and changed a few things.

Heavy Upright Row BB 40kg (way to light but first effort) 10/3

DB Arnold Presses 15kg 10/3

DB Seated Lat Raise 8kg 10/3

BB Shrugs 70kg 12/3

Also did Vertical Crunches.... 25.

Food pretty good today, rice, wholegrain breads steak etc. anything that tastes good.

yea its sick. do you eat salmon? that tastes allright and its got less mercury init than tuna

yeah i eat salmon, but cant stand the flavoured salmon.

Man you're damned if you and do and damned if you don't huh....mercury in the tuna....salmon has less mercury but the tinned variety comes from North America where they have high levels of PCB (toxic and carcinogenic) in the food chain (TV 3 today).....:? Looks like it is NZ salmon steaks for me now :lol:

Right i'm back and today was legs heres how it went :

All 13reps 3sets

Squats 100kg 120kg 125kg for 2sets of 15

Hack Squats 80kg

Straight leg deads 40kg going up to 50kg next week this was easy ish.

Standing leg Curls 20kg

Standing Calve Raises 105kg

Good session. those leg curls are hard work. food is up to scratch which is all good.

Close Grip Pull Downs 60kg

BICEPS

DB Incline Curls 12.5kg

DB Seated Hammer Curls 17.5kg

Ezi Grip reverse Curls 25kg

Food has been good, although snuck in a Rocky road bar today, was so good =P~

Anyway nice healthy chicken burger for tea tonight and not from kfc so it gotta be good for ya.

Awesome workout there TE...I tried standing leg curls for the first time the other day...pretty cool.

Hey good work on the deads, rows and pull downs. I'm working on increasing my deadlift...can do 82.5 for one but not reps yet..little steps :)

I used to do the deadlift quite abit, hopefully strength will come back fast for it. i think i could of done 85kg for it... but didnt want to risk it.

Little steps indeed my friend, still waiting on the big 83kg to roll around. its creeping up slowly. :pray:

The weekend was good, if only the weather would just be sunny and hot for a change... Stupid south island weather Rain rain and more rain.

Chest all 12/3

Bench Press 60kg, 80kg, 87.5kg

DB Decline Press 25kg

DB Incline Flies 20kg

Triceps all 12/3

Cable Press Downs 40kg

Cable Reverse Pull Downs 20kg

DB Lying Extensions 12.5kg

Food pretty good today. the usual stuff, MMMM steak

Triple Chocolate Fudge. havent got around to opening yet, but tomorrow is looking good for taste testing.

Hack squats 80kg 15/3

Straight Leg Deads 55kg 15/3

Single Leg Standing Leg Curls 20kg 15/3

Standing calve raise 105kg 15/3

Food wasn't too great yesterday, lone star for tea, but had Cajan Chicken. it was my lunch that wasnt too great, Fish and chips :)

But today was back on track. Weighed and still at 82.90kg. surely something is about to happen :pray:
