Also,

I dug up an old leg pic from my bodyspace dated Nov 2009, so decided to take another one 2 years on to see how much they've grown... Pretty happy with the progress.

(Note: calves conveniently cut out of both images :pfft: )

Which one is the latest one? :lol: Only kidding, good progress Mike. I heard you are on a bit of a mission. Keep it up. As big a outside sweep as the Freek :pfft:

YOu would be happy if you put both of your quads together and they were similar size to one of mine :grin:

April Canterbury powerlifting champs

July Eastside BB club strongman

September Boy's Day Out strongman champs

November NZ's Strongest Man

Keep getting bigger and building raw strength up through the entire year, hopefully peak at 125+ for NZSM.

Monday - 04/01

Cardio: 40 mins walking

Posterior Chain

Sumo deadlifts 60x8 100x8 140x6 180x4 belt 220x7 PB

with 42 cent, straps down 240x2 260x2 PB, straps up 280x1

SSB good mornings 65x8 85x8 95x8 PB 85x8

Glute ham raises BWx10 +5x10 2x+10x8 BWx10

Reverse hyper 3x60x10

Deadlift was fast, 300 next week for sure and hopefully 320 in two weeks time. Gym weight 110.1kg, so I'd weigh in at around 106 if I were to compete right now. SSB good mornings are coming up nicely, can feel these building my core strength.

Tuesday - 05/01

Chest

Incline bench press 2x60x10 80x10 90x10 100x5 90x6 80x10

Flat dumbbell fly 15x10 25x8 30x8 32.5x8 PB 35x5 PB 27.5x8

Incline dumbbell press 20x10 30x10 3x35x10

Cable crossovers 4 sets

Strength pretty off on the incline dumbbell/barbell presses. Hopefully be back to where I was & beyond within a couple of weeks. Quick blast today, good pump.

Thursday - 07/01

Cardio 30 mins stationary bike HR 120-130

Delts

True log press (strict & paused) 2x40x10 65x8 85x9 PB 90x6 PB 80x7

Seated barbell press 40x10 60x10 70x8 60x10

Seated lateral raises 2x15x10 2x20x8 2x25x6 2x20x8 2x15x10

Cable lateral raise (rope) 30x15 2x40x15

Weight gain must be starting to influence my strength. Log press up big time, got 85x6 last week. Also when I had a crack at 90 a couple weeks ago I only got three reps. So big PBs here. Unfortunately Dr. Soft upped me one rep over the two top sets, but I account for that difference with his elbow sleeves 8). 90x8-10 next week, let's see if he can keep up with the pace.
