hi all, example. training bis/tris in a single session. i train bis first. now, i start with the key compound ex - chins, then move to the usual curls/hammers etc. then i do the same for tris. start with c/g bench sets, then move to pushdowns, skulls etc.

my question is, would i be better doing both key exes first, ie chins, then c/g bench, then all other exes? this would leave me fresher for c/g bench, but would leave a gap between bi exercises.

what do you guys do here? ive always been under the impression that you should do all of one muscles exes in sequence, but i just wondered if anyone does it different?

I personally train biceps and triceps on seperate days. I do a full workout on each with around 5 or 6 different excercises on each group. My theory is blast the heck out of each group and just concentrate on that one group. In terms of what excercises to do first, i like to do the excercises that use maximum effort and strength first (mainly free weights) then finish on machines and cables doing super sets to keep the pump going.
