haha nothing out of the ordinary....maybe it's just a time under the bar thing :shrug: still got a long way to go cos there will always be more weight to lift.

Deadzone tonight....was an interesting one...had to pull 90%+ tonight

Talk about feeling beaten up...piriformis aching L and R from squats on Monday :shock: traps/neck sore from the shrug I did benching in the shirt when I didn't take control and I let it wear me :lol: So lots of ice packs, screw drivering and 100mg voltaren to get me through to tonight :?

Wow what a cool weekend!

Our team had an excellent comp day and now everyone is amped for Auck Champs with some new lifters coming through 8)

So after a weekend off back into it tonight and no I didn't have the Cheesecake/KFC bucket....very good I was with a chicken salad :shock:

Oh thanks Vee...yeah it's been awhile

Have been nursing an injury for the last couple of weeks. Think I have badly strained or micro tear in my R trapizeus. Happened in the bench shirt as the shirt owned me rather than me taking control of the shirt lol. Think I kind of shrug it as the load came on :shrug: but heard a sound like paper tearing and hurt like hell.

Have full ROM now in my arm and raw bench etc is fine it's just the shirt work that gives it a bit of grief.

Have iced it, rested it, massaged it etc and I think it is slowly getting better.

Last three training sessions this week were as follows:

not a great session and pretty average benching...shoulder really feeling it by last couple of reps.

since this session jacked open the arms of my shirt by 1cm as it was too tight and acting like a tornique no way I could have worn for comp being that tight. forearms were getting a mean pump :pfft:

Went for 1 hour massage on my off day between bench and deads which was bliss :nod:

Thanks OB I am enjoying a bit of a rest TBH...going to see Mr Fixit today for my shoulder as it is still giving me a bit of grief...hoping he can work his wonders 8)

So saw Mr Fixit and he thinks I have a strain or tear to the Levator Scapulae which lies under the trap and is a stabiliser rather than a primary mover that runs up to the base of the skull :shock:

Did some manipulation etc and will go back on Monday...may have to have a scan next week. I didn't mention I have a comp this weekend :shifty: will just get him to patch me up next week :lol:

Got some light stretching and rollering to do today and that will be it for me till D-day!
