So this week is the beginning of Week 9 wave 3 of my programme

Warm up (not that I wasn't damn hot already :lol: )

mangaged to get depth which I wasn't sure I would get as the suit is a size down from my old suit and is super tight to get on. pretty happy with that. may use it again next week then swap for my old suit till comp day. vid to follow of 1 set of squats.

good mornings: 5x5x30kg

standing calf raise with f/s harness: 4x15x50kg

abs: HLR 5x10

It was quite a long sesh tonight but really good vibe in the shed and worked in with a few others, helped spot etc... all good though as I have the day off training tomorrow :grin:

So tonight I got to bench in my new 32 Fury.

OMG I didn't know the meaning of tight gear. Steak got up a sweat putting it on ( my old one I can pretty much get on myself). Took us over 25mins to get it on. The arms so tight that my hands were going purple :? Im thinking holy moly I'm not gonna get this down. I think I even said should we just do this another day :lol:

Anyways got told to HTFU and get under the bar so I did

1x3x60 - 2board/carpet

1x2x65 - 2 board

1x70 - 1 board/carpet

1x75 - 1 board/carpet

1x75 touch

1x77.5 touch PR ever!

I could hear the shirt creaking as the bar was coming down and it just popped on up :lol:

Needless to say it took probably 10mins to get the thing off me and I had to leave my training there as my forearms were so swole and blotchy I looked like I had the meanest pump :pfft: but in fact the shirt was acting like a tornique...had to ice my arms down and foam roller then did some RBPD x 100 to get some blood flow.

Very stoked with tonights efforts...so celebrated with jet planes and a shake :lol:

Haha yes quite sure... especially after squat night on Monday. CNS was fried....I was in a bad way :?

yeah I know there was a bit of chat on FB from Mark Bells interview about overtraining and CNS friage being BS...but I know that when I push my body to the limits in training (usually with the geared work) that night strange things happen... anything from twitching, restless legs, not being able to sleep, to being extremely hot especially on my stomach and feet ( and no not menopause :lol: ) it must be the body trying to get back to homeostasis! Added up the kg squatted from monday = 2460kg nearly 2 1/2 tonnes :shifty:

Anyway enough hypothesising....this is what I did on Monday night

Training last night was a bit of a non event :lol:

Did raw bench up to 50kg and ended up helping Emma with her shirt work as she has a comp next weekend. Didn't help that she benched in 3 different shirts last night :roll: :lol: That's an arm workout right there getting those suckers on and off. Anyhoo will do shirted bench today 8)

Well it looks as though CBC is hear to stay, just signed our lease for a couple more years and will have some building work started hopefully in the next week, meeting with the builder today 8)

Yeah easy saying the CNS fried thing is BS when your jacked to hell. Is why Borris says get medicated to handle a CMS routine...

Sure you can sleep and eat more, but sleeping can be hard after a huge session and who has the time to catch up on sleep during the day.

I like most of what Mark says...funny as hell, but that was dumb.

But yeah....harden up BB :wink:

So round two of bench this week...interesting session lol not how I planned

The shirt took Steak 25mins to get on and was even tighter than last week :-s

I couldn't get it down with 67.5 when last week I bench 77.5kg with a touch :shrug: And my right arm was blue and I couldn't feel my hand so we had to take it off...that took about 15mins.

The lesson with gear so tight like this I think is that you can't go up or down you've just got to maintain and I think since last week I have gained some weight :oops: be it water or otherwise :lol: But all good I have done a bit of research and have a cunning plan :shifty:

Bench night tonight...was a bit nervous about getting the shirt on as last week it was super tight but have been experimenting with food/water this week and it seems to be working for now and the shirt only took 10 mins to get on (compared with 25mins last week) :shifty:

Raw bench:
