Bench tonight was a bit ho hum. Went into it feeling tired, 2 coffees and a red bull did jack :roll:

I must have it real bad as the other night I had this continuing dream about Eleiko bars and plates :lol: Sick or what :shifty:

So today I found out that I have the unofficial NZ record for deadlift for my age and weight (that is after investigating why others who I had competed with had their records put up and mine wasn't :-s ).....unofficial you may ask...why unofficial. Well it turns out that although I signed up and paid my fees in February (knowing that I needed to be a member for at least 6 months to be able to set records) my membership wasn't recognised until April. WTF :twisted: Pissed off much!! I could rant on but I won't but what I will do is go and freakn smash it at the NI's and then I will have a record. Then I will be happy and peace shall reign again :lol::lol: Rant over.

its a funny ole club this NZPF :roll: They encourage you to sign up early in the year to get a discount on your subs and then you find out your fees meant absolutely nothing until the start of the fed year in april!

Its ok to pay comp entry fees, travel expenses, accomodation expenses, buy approved only gear, be part of the precious drug testing/cough medicine testing programme..hell you were even forced to pay for a meal that you couldnt attend only to find that although you trained really hard and lifted really well in your 6th comp for the fed in a year that it still wasnt good enough.

It was OK for her to be awarded the Auckland Womens Bench Press Champion though :roll:

Im going to look into this antiquated rule...talk about a joke.Do they not realise its the year 2000+ and the computer, at the press of a button, can generate a membership list based on when you actually join (fair) not on when they want your membership to start (dark ages mentality)

Its little wonder there is talk, speculation, dare I say it ...need? and even propagation of a new fed.

Not on the APA form but checked and was on the NZPF form. Both have different membership periods in a year :shock: So I have set regional records but not the official NZ. I'm over it....it is what it is....moving on just gotta smash some numbers and set a better one :grin:

Speaking of smashing things tonight I got a PB squat 8) Didn't intend on this but when Coach is not busy programmes change :lol: He pushes me beyond what I think I can do...thanks Coach :wink:
