Yesterday I began Day 1 Week 1 of Sheiko 37 High Volume... all I can say is that the next 8 weeks are going to be a hard slog but from pain comes glory right.

Deadlift hunt will probably resume with something specific following Smolov, hoping for a similar improve from Deads that I got for squats come Bbro time :nod:

Didn't get to do any Agile 8 yesterday...felt decidely yuk yesterday afternoon...dizzy, temperature, cough, sore throat :shock: WTF I'm only in week 1...just bad luck I guess. But decided tonight to train feeling a bit fluey...as Boris (or the coach) doesn't care for my weak ailments. And actually got through it relatively well.

Yeah pretty good just set up the heights on a stack of 20's each side and my R leg is not hurting. Before doing conv I'd get to 100kg and I'd be feeling it in the glute. So far so good. :pray: Long may it last

But note to self...remove wedding rings before doing sumo...managed to spill a bit of claret as they dragged up the thigh :doh: :pfft:

ive watched sumos from knees on some youtube clips and it just looked unco as aye!

Tonight in your Honor i pulled a PB in my Sumo, it wasnt much 60!...but its the thought that counts :grin:

PS i had a good setup too, Didnt feel like i was passing out

Thanks H...I'm up for any advices on the sumo as this is all very new. Certainly not so beaten up by the sumo's.

Ohh would love to lift 3 plates...that is the goal to work towards.

Sound like me except I've ended up getting infected sinuses (as I seem to get chronic sinusitis if I do pick up anything that gets me phlemmy). Day off work but got organised an appointment with an ENT specialist on Wednesday thanks to work (TinyTraps mum) to get my sinuses sorted and a possible plan to sort them out for good.
