The suit is worth a squat way bigger than you can push at the moment and the reality is that 80kg is just a drop in the bucket and judging by the speed they were popping up you be triple figures in no time..., big breath, sit back, spread the floor, head up, chest up and drive it down. The rest is the best.

Looking solid, once you get used to the suit (at least 5 session minimum) you'll get more from it (they have a groove of their own!). Nice feeling having the stopping power & rebound out of the hole huh?! :nod:

Yeah week 3 felt like it was never gonna end.

I was pretty happy with my first suited effort but yes you're right it's a process of working the suit. Oh for sure, heaps of support and pop. 80kg felt lighter than what I expected. Plus I think there was a bit of adrenaline in the mix too :grin:

Seeing it was such a mint day decided to play mainly on the driveway today :grin: and this is what I did...

60 hits to tyre

DB overhead press 3x 10

Sled x driveway x 3 laps

Tyre stepups x 50

Press ups to tyre x 10

Lying leg curls 3 x 10

Hanging leg raises x 36

Crunches x 40

Week 6 begins tomorrow and back into 4 days of weight training with 1 day of conditioning added too.

Bench:

1x3x27.5kg

1x3x35

1x3x40

2x2x42.5

2x2x45

3x1x47.5

Wide grip bench:

4x8x30kg

3 Board bench:

4x2x55kg

DB Flyes:

4x8 light

LPD:

4x8x45kg

Benching today felt good with the singles at 47.5kg coming up with ease.

Squat tomorrow might throw the suit on again and see where it takes me :grin:

2 weeks 5 days till comp 8)

90kg to parallel tried widening my stance more which helped, need more weight and may also need to jack the legs a little in the suit to get it a bit higher, welts for Africa again...the last lot were nearly gone now I have a twin set :lol: But pretty happy with my efforts 2nd time in the suit.

Wide Stance low box squat:

1x3x40

1x3x47.5

4x3x52.5

All done and dusted pretty quickly. Busy gym tonight with training new members and the boys doing skills evaluation...all good :nod:

So training plans changed a bit this weekend, had Sat off just too much other stuff on so trained today instead.

Jacked suit which is all good and feels heaps better in the hole.
