the dudes onto her trouble in the neck..a bit of manipulation and shes comes right. Was a bit freaky the first time it happened and I was a bit lost as to what to do TBH...now we just drug her up and lay her down...its kinda how I met her :lol:

So saw Mr Fixa on Thursday night and he did some work on my neck....looks as though I will be seeing him each week now for the next 6 or so weeks. I decided to do bench as normal as there is no strain on the neck and to back off the weights for squat/keep my head in a neutral position so no strain/pressure there. This worked well. Weight for squat was minimal :oops: but just focused on good form.

Am finding the high vol training quite taxing and not sure if I would do another cycle but as I'm half way through I've just gotta keep going.

Are you suffering from fatigue?

do you twitch uncontrollaby at night because your CNS doesnt know mondays from thursdays?

fimd that sheiko high volume to be a real bitch and make you stay in the gym for up to 4 hours?

No training over the weekend but went for a walk with the kids around Shakespeare and then pulled the sled around on Sunday.

Trained today with Emm as my spotter/shirt fitter etc.

Again backed off my squat weight by 10kgs on last 4 sets but did prescribed sets/reps. Neck is still not right and it was definately aggrevated by squatting. Bench feeling really strong and repping 60 is easy :shock: Saw Mr Fixa post training and my neck was very sore. Going for xray tomorrow morning. Hope it is not bad news. Would like to have an MRI but at $1500 don't think I will be. Am also going to get him to look at my hips to see if there is an alignment issue there too.

Although todays training took 3 hours it wasn't too bad....last week I thought shit i really don't like this programme at all....I think now that I'm in week 4 I'm at a better head space.

It is good for you but like any sport injuries happen :huh:

Results of x-ray, nothing really showed apart from a bit of degeneration of c5 probably age related :shifty: :lol: so have continued treatment today and feels a bit better.

Skills last night week 5 of Sheiko High Vol. I was a little nervous as to be working at 100% but that is what was prescribed so this is what I did. Neck seems to be ok today..piriformis a little tender but nothing a foam roller won't cure! Thanks for the pep talk coach :grin:
