So no rest for the wicked...started Sheiko 29 tonight. Decided to do a four week cycle raw and then will go onto a 12 week equipped cycle.

Numbers based on raw lifts......

Squat 75kg

Bench 50kg

Sumo dead 127.5kg

Week 1 Day 1

Sled x 2 then add 4 year old girl to sled x 2 (always get some strange looks from the neighbours as we head down the drive :lol:)

foam roller

stretch

Bench:

1x5x25kg

2x4x30

2x3x35

5x3x40

Squat:

1x5x40kg

2x5x45

5x5x55 whew that was hard :lol: I'm used to working in 3's :shock:

Bench:

1x5x25kg

1x5x30

4x4x35

DB flyes

5x10 light

GM's

5x5 light

Done in just over 2 hours :grin:

NZPF is not planning on holding raw comps next year but the provinces will be leading the way with Auckland taking the first step....

APA is holding the Raw Auckland Champs in March 2012. That is the word on the street from the AGM.

So haven't done any more training this week. I think I jumped back in too soon and didn't give the body enough time to rest :doh: Have felt really tired and rundown :? Sometimes I have to remind my self I'm not 24 anymore damn it! :pfft:

Will see how I feel over the weekend and maybe do something light.

Off to the SM comp tomorrow so that should be fun to watch :nod:

Back into the shed last night after some time off training. Glad I took the extra time out as I now feel ready to throw myself into sheiko again. So went back to Day 1 week 1 take 2 :lol:

At a PL seminar I recently went to I was told that I should pull deads to knees and from knees conventional even though I now lift sumo....that felt strange as I'm so used to sumo now. But all good weights felt easy and light. Piriformis ok for now.
