Always a good basic flavour. So you haven't tried root beer yet? Can't wait to hear what you have to say about that one!

 Not yet... I'm actually quite looking forward to it. Its facinating. Like "tropical punch" :-s .... To be honest though, I'm not going to buy ON again. I prefer the overall texture and sweetness of my Balance stuff way more.

I can recommend Dymatize Pina Colada, which I've just tried for the first time right this minute. MMMMMMMMMM it was divine!

 Pina colada flavor is actually nice? Wow. I Always thought the scope for it to go so wrong wasn't worth the risk. Good to know, thanks

Umm right i should probably say my training journal is on hold for the next week or so untill exams end. Well it depends if i get myself back into a state of cognition/actual functioning.

The past 2-3 months of constant sleep dep finally hit me yesterday and I'm finding it hard to remain conscious for long periods, want to throw up constantly, have no appetite and no strength. Attempting the gym would most likely be futile. :? I think the past week of continuing my training on 2 hours sleep a night did more harm than good too.

Fk i hate this hellish time of year, always happens. Anyway, its my own fault in the end, I just gotta focus my energies into getting through the next week or so, preferably alive (even if fat and unfit, beats dead).

Yeah, it was hit and miss choosing it - I was going to buy some from MasterTel's shop a while back, but he only had it in the 5lb tub and I just didn't want to commit to so much in case it was horrible, so got a smaller tub from bb.com instead. Personally I loved it. Nice and pineapply, yum!

Poor you! Best to do what you're doing though. End of year is a hard time at uni (I spent 8 years at uni, so had my fair share of ends of years!), and best to just focus on that for now. Your body might thank you for a rest with the weights - might take a bit to get back up to your old weights, but a bit of time off can do wonders.

Good luck with your exams Emmzies...and IMO you are doing the right thing.. gotta listen to your body. When I had exams I used to take Ginko Biloba herbal remedy and it helped with a clear mind and memory retentionsmiley-happy077.gif. If you're into that kind of stuff :)

Right now i have the energy to type i can actually reply... I've come down with some sort of flu i think and it has reallly set in since i last post (i.e been unable to get outta bed). Oh well.. anyway!

Thanks for all your support guys. I'm normally so anal about training 6 days a week is kinda scary just accepting that i don't have the energy/resources to do so for a while.

OMG Emma!!!

It's Cam

YOUR HARDCORE!!! squats at 50kg  Working for it!

Well done on the weight loss so far, it's *insert swear word here*mind blowing. Keep pushin it.

Aw cheers for the encouragement Cam, thats kind of ya

Haha squats aren't that impressive, i just love legsicles, thats all. And Loving that pic... phat kids for life indeed  \:D/

Good luck with your studying, hope it all pays off in the end, for instant ratification

Lol, you know what i'm going to say to that buddy :pfft: i could so do with any type right now though  ...

What degree are you studying for? You always seem so busy, tired and running on caffeine, and up all hours of the night! :(

I"m in my 4th year of a Law and Arts degree majoring in Media, but this year i'm just doing law papers. And yeah, i took two more than the reccomended amount of courses to make sure i finish the double degree next year, hence the inevitable constant stress.

When's your exam Emz?

First one is on Saturday then i have them every second day for like a week.

Thank BB, I'm definutly someone who thinks you should do what your body tell ya no matter what, and its clearly telling me to stop pushing it to its absolute limits. I tried to go for a walk up the hill this afternoon and ended up collapsing at the top. I got some very concerned looks from drivers... thank goodness i skipped the gym. :( Yeah i've heard Ginko is good too, I might try and find some.

OH MY....8 years?!?!?!?! Frick.... poor you. 4 seems like a lifetime.. i can't imagine double that. What degree were you going, and post grad im guessing?

Ummm i suppose i should still post diet, t0days is pretty pointless though.

M1: 3 egg whites

M2: 1/2 cup tomato soup.

Right time to go pass out i think.

Yeah, 5 of the 8 years were postgrad. A double degree sounds like a lifetime, but just doing one degree after another isn't so bad, as it's all in small chunks - 3 years, one year, one year, etc. But a 5 year double degree does sound like a hell of a commitment to make!

  • 2 weeks later...

Restart

Hello long lost journal. I have missed you. As has my increasingly chubby and weak body.

Seems I survived the rather insane onslaught of the past few months and am now free. I'm definutly glad i listened to my body and stopped training during the past 2 weeks, there is only so much mental energy one can muster if their body is physically exhausted. My total physical breakdown (as was the subject of my last post) was a good lesson taught. I still ran every few days for about 30 mins but that was only to keep my brain oxygenated.

My first proper workout yesterday was rather ...interesting. :? Its amazing how much strength you loose in two weeks. Kinda depressing, although it was after my final exam so i should probably give myself some concession for being totally and utterly shattered. At least i have all summer to make up for my losses.
