Oh that reminds me... what is the best snack to eat before bed if you're cutting (well permanently :pfft: )? Stupid 4am-ers lead to extreme late night hunger and i never know whats i should be filling up on. Obviously NOT carbs.... i guess some of my lost protein smack would be an obvious choice?

Eggs .... 2 yolks + 6 whites will see you right :nod: They will take a bit longer to break down in the system to so good for sleep - not too heavy also. :)

WOW :shock: thats alot of eggs. How would you suggest cooking them, i.e... something more interesting than an omlette? :nod:

Oh man, now that i have stopped laughing so hard, i thought i would share this with you all. My friend just diagnosed me with Orthorexia Nervosa.

Freakin Strange.

But anyway! :D I'm going to eat, sleep and breatheeeee protein shakes now to make up for my long-term deprivation. \:D/ next time i'm just going to order it 3 months before i actually want it to arrive and it'll be all good!

Yay! Protein party time!!! You're gonna have so much fun with your multi-flavour pack (except maybe the root beer one!!) - let us know how you rate the flavours (it'll help me make choices next time!).

I will keep you flavor-updated daily :grin: Starting right now...

Sample Number 1: Cookies and Cream.

Result: PASS. So Average. Just tasted like Vanilla gone wrong and less creamy. NEXT!

You just think that's what you ordered... how would you know that you didn't just take delivery of a whole bunch of fake products and Mr Customs dude snaffled the good stuff for himself. Was he ripped n shredded :pfft:

So i got a free pair of body fat calipers with my order, and attempted to do a skinfold test .......oh the amusement! 15% BF???? :pfft: :pfft: :pfft: In my dreams Mr Fail Calipers. :naughty:

Is this the only accurate way to measure BF yourself? :-s Got to be a more reliable way.

LOL - I got the freebie calipers too and gave up when I had trouble with the thigh. Will try again tonight, but I keep thinking I'm going to break them :lol:

Oooo I'll be facinated to see what it tells you! You have to Doooo it! :nod: Haha and yes, they do look pretty easily breakable...

Learn how to use them :wink: Better to get someone else to do it, multi-site etc. Same person doing it each time = consistency.

Hmmm interesting... not sure who i could rope into doing that with no awquardness :pfft: But yes, i did do it with three different sites and i tried it three different times with the same consistant result. Thanks for that site, was very helpful. Its so hard to get a decent skinfold on triceps and thighs though! :-s

• DB Incline Flys - 9kg 15x3

• DB Decline Bench Chest press - 10kg 12 x3

• Negative Wide-grip pullups 7 x3

• Ez-curl bar - Bicep curls - 21 set 10kg x 4

• Cardio: 1km HIIT, 2.5km hill walk

Hmmm bit of a slackass workout, but time waits for no (wo)man :doh:

Wednesdays Diet

M1: 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup milk

M2: tea, almonds

M3: 150g chicken, 2 corn thins w/ PB

M4: coffee, apple, a (disappointing) protein shake

M5: 150g chicken, salad

M6: Will be a (less disappointing) Protein shake :grin:

Thanks for the site, that looks like it would definutly provide a far more comprehensive and accurate result, taking into account weight etc.

Thursdays Training: Legs

• Cardio: 1 hr run/walk/sprint/run

• Push ups 12x1, 22x2 \:D/

• Squats 15x1 @ 40kg, 12x3 @45kg, 10x4 @ 50kg - felt something distinctly go 'ping' in my thigh :shifty:

• Lunges 10kg x30ish

• Leg Press 121kg 15x4

• Leg extension 62kg 12x3

• Lying Leg Curl 39kg 15x3

• Glute machine 70kg 15x3 (each leg)

• Hip adduction 85kg 12 x 4

• Hip abduction 80kg 12 x 4

Thursdays Diet

M1: Met-Rx Protein pancake (wouldn't reccomend it), tea x2

M2: Apple. 50g jerky

M3: small avocado, 2 corn things, tomato

M4: steamed fish, veges, feta

M5: protein shake

P.s Chillicat: Tried another ON 100% Protein shake flavour last night: Caramel Toffee Fudge. Again, average, not that sweet, kinda weak flavour but not bad like the Cookies and Cream (which also had a nasty aftertaste). Wish i hadn't bought 3lb's of it though. :doh:

Hmmm, interesting to know. I was keen on trying their Chocolate Coconut flavour after the talk earlier about the BSN Lean Dessert one tasting like a Bounty bar...but since it only comes in a 5lb tub, and if flavours are a bit iffy, I'm not so sure. Shame they don't have one in your multi pack so you could give me your opinion!

I'm loving the one I bought - All the Whey strawberry. The colour is a bit radioactive, but the best bit is that there is no, erm, gassiness with it like you can get with some protein powders (not me of course, I'm a lady and naturally don't get farty ever :lol: )

I was looking at buying that next time actually. Gotta love strawberry, and its real low carb (if its the one im thinking of) so good to know it gets your thumbs up :D

ON 100% flavour number 3: Double Rich Chocolate

Weak, hardly any actual chocolate taste and the chocolate taste it did have wasn't rich in any way. Double fail more like.

The Eatme chocolate protein powder i had was way nicer in my opinion.

Have you tried strawberry banana flavour yet?

It's soooo good! =P~
