Tuesdays Training: Back-Triceps

• Db Bent over rows 20 kg 15x5

• Seated cable rows 12x3 35kg

• Lat Pulldowns 15x4 35kg, 12x2 40kg

• Negative Wide-grip pullups x4....then i discovered the assist machine in the big boys gym... :o pure awesomeness.

• Assisted chin ups 35kg 15x3, 30kg 15x6 (got abit carried away) :grin:

• Assisted Tricep dips 35kg 12x5

• Tri Extensions 10kg 12x2, 12.5kg 10x3 - nearly dropped the db on my head, twice. Wooooops :pfft:

• Standing BB rows 20kg 15x5

• Cardio 1: pathetic attempt at HIIT running (till i started hobbling like a cripple - probably 7mins)

• Cardio 2: 20 mins cross training - 80% HR

Tuesdays Diet

M1: Strawberry and peach smoothie, tea, half protein bar

M2: apple, coffeex2

M3: um...3/4 cup baked beans, celery, onion, corn thin with PB

M4: 1/2 protein bar

M5: beef stirfry

EPIC Workout tonight, excluding the toe and my close call with death \:D/ Back day has gone from worst to my fave :grin:

Protein powder is still ABSENT. :phear: Not a happy chappy, particually since its coming up three weeks....

Is it getting sent via international post or courier? I ordered some bits and pieces on Sunday, and decided that for only US$2 extra I'd go with the courier option, so I'll be interested to see how long it takes, as it's my first order with them too. It says it'll take 2-5 days, but I'd be surprised if it was that quick. Hope yours comes today!

Ouch at almost dropping the weights on your head.. I'm sure a PT would of been nice and handy, had that happened to go "Are you alright?"

I selected international post which said 7-14 days. Sorry i don't have better news for you..... still not freakin here. :( I'm so over it now. So hard keeping the protein intake up without it. Coz i'm a super nice patient person I'll give it a couple more days before i start abusing them.... :pray:

• DB Bench Chest press - 10kg 12 x3

• DB Flys - 9kg 12x3

• Negative Wide-grip pullups 4 x3 (look Rose, no assisted chin ups! I resisted the awesome machine just for you :grin: )

• Ez-curl bar Bicep curls - 21set 10kg x 5

• Push ups 12x3

• Side plank 1min holds x3

• Numerous crunches at various times

Wednesdays Diet

M1: 2 egg whites, 1/2 milk, 1 cup of my potent porriage conconcution consisting of rolled oats, oat bran, flaxseed oil, benefibre, wheat germ, rice flakes, quinoa, rasins, cinnamon, dried apricots and sugar-free maple syrup.

M2: 25g jerky, handful almonds

M3: 100g tuna, 4 egg whites, zuccini, carrot, pepper and celery

M4: coffee, 1/2 sculpt bar

M5: light chicken thai curry, mixed veges, tablespoon rice :o

Argh. Hurts. To. Move. And. Type. :doh: Damn cardio overload, I am officially empty. :pale:

Yeah, it really is. I get so much protein via protein powder, I'm sure what little muscle I have would waste away if I didn't have protein powder, as I just can't manage to eat that much tuna/chicken/red meat.

That's the odd thing, eh! Forcing yourself to chow-down on either whole foods or shakes. I've had odd looks when everyone else in the tea-room's got their scones, muffins and sausage rolls, and I pull out a grilled whole chicken-breast.

The pull-up god forgives your short-term memory because you're a busy Law Chick student with lots of words to fathom and regurgitate.

So he's just giving you another hint, because he doesn't want to send you over the edge into stress oblivion or anything nasty like that. He's actually a pretty caring, reasonable god. He was impressed by your persistance with negative pull-ups. He accepts that sometimes his flock goes walkabout in search of other options. But he knows that the good ones always come back :pray: He also recognises it depends entirely on your goals. If you don't want to be strong, assist machines work just fine. Some people are happy being weak :crazy:

"1. Avoid Machines. Machines balance the weight for you and force you into fixed motions. The strength you build on the Lat Pull-down and the Assisted Pull-up Machine won’t carry over to Pull-ups. Don’t use them."

• Negative Wide-grip pullups 4 x3

• Leg Press 120kg 15x3

• Mountain climbers 3x 30

• Push ups 12x2, 20x2 \:D/

• Leg extension 59kg 12x3

• Lying Leg Curl 39kg 15x3

• Glute machine 67kg 15x3 (each leg)

• Hip adduction 68kg 12 x 4

• Hip abduction 68kg 12 x 4

• Cardio: 15 mins cross training - 70-80% HR - KO'd

Thursdays diet

M1: 1 cup potent porriage, 1/2 cup milk, tea

M2: almonds, dried apricots, tea

M3: 100 g tuna, salad, tea, 1/2 sculpt bar

M4: 2 corn things w PB, handful almonds

M5: Eclipse mints (dinner is too much effort :shifty: )

I've been getting abit complacent with my leg workouts so thought i better up the anti today. Even so, i don't feel that tired. :-s Maybe i need to push harderrr. I never get leg doms :doh:

It looks as though it reached customs on 10/07/09. Your order is still currently stuck in customs undergoing a series of routine inspections prior to being released for delivery. Customs has not provided us with an exact date when it will be released. It is up to their discretion as to how long it takes them to inspect your package As soon as they are done inspecting it, it will be released and shipped your way. I will go ahead and send them over some additional information to help speed up this process.

We are doing everything in our power to get that to you as quickly as possible. At this point we do need to continue to wait because it can take a max of 60 days to clear customs for delivery. We appreciate your patience and we will continue to keep you updated as we receive more information on the status of your order."

Guess its only been in customs two days....

Yeah i was pretty impressed with their online live customer service! Its interesting to see how long it took to actually reach nz.

I'm sure we'll receive our goodies in no time now though :D

Don't worry Emmzies you are not alone :) I was using the assisted machines for dips and pull-ups and thought man this is good/easy...until TP (aka Steak) stepped in :doh: :nono: not allowed to use machines. And I must admit I have made improvments in my strength and reps etc and nothing wrong with gettn someone to spot you a few :nod:

By the way top effort for Thursdays workout...KUTGW (I've just discovered what that means :pfft: I must be old school :oops: )
