When I ordered from them it took about 1 week, I was suprised! Check if it hasn't been backordered... or you can track it with the info they give you?

Whoa a week, lucky! Yeah i tried tracking it but for some reason the tracking code wasn't recognised. I should probably just stop being impatient. Plus As Laura said, it can take up to three weeks... so 11 days isn't too bad. I guess....

Wednesdays Training: Abs/Shoulders

• Front raises 10kg 10 x 4

• Side Delt Raises 9kg 10 x4

• Rear delt flies 40kg 12x45

• Push ups 15x4

• Side plank 1 min holds x 3

Argh leg and ass DOMS are nasty today. I can see why you all talk about needing Zimmer frames. I never usually get DOMS in the legs, guess i'm normally too lazy to push myself.

Wednesdays Diet - Fatass eating day. :?

M1: Protein pancakes w. grated apple & sugarfree maple syrup, coffee

M2: Corn thin w. tomato, coffee

M3: Salmon Salad, coffee, low cal brownie

M4: 1/2 sculpt bar, coffee

M5: homemade pizza , eggwhite salad (surely that cancels out the pizza? )

Theres probably quite a few more cofffee's in there but....thats completely irrelevent. :D

Partially blind guy at work has gadgets that talk. His laptop sounds like Stephen Hawking. We make it say really long insults composed entirely of swear words. Cracks even the most hardcore mood and turns it into a

Hang in there Law Chick :salute:

(Or you could just hit something. Pillows/cushions. People. It matters not :pfft: )

There are definutly a few people around that are at risk right now. Hmmmmmmm Maybe i should take up boxing...

Why are you so stressed out Emmzies?

Ummmmm do you really wanna know? Three 5000 word essays to be done in a couple of weeks, 4 final exams less than a month away, juggling two part time jobs which have various deadlines within them as well plus a few um, "boy issues". KILL ME NOWWW!

I think if you keep working out like that the stress will go away  good work load lady
I'll admit that if i stopped gymming i would literally go insane but even 1.5hrs + a day doesn't seem to be helping the stress levels...
I can send you some candy  ...might help?
Yes please, its been far too long

I've been a girly swat in a previous life... pre gym discovery :pfft: my 2c worth for the study would be try to break it down into chunks... look at your essay deadlines, set yourself goals and work towards each one. It's too hard on the brain to think about all the work coming up at once  It used to work for me...tho I will admit to having to clean the house first before I could sit down to study  I know!!

Boy issues...sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind :snap:

Gah!! I have essay upon essay to write too Miss, in fact I should be doing it right now!!! Barbelle is right to divide it into reasonable chunks then it seems do-able. I have been considering ditching the studying and getting a job in MacDonalds, it seems way easier! and they don't pay too bad!

NOOOOO don't fall off the study wagon Vee! As appealing as a 'would-you-like-fries-with-that' job is, its all about delayed gratification. Our pain and torture will allllll be worth it in the end... I hope. I think. I pray.

Aw i know how you feel Emmzies - although mine are only stupid NCEA exams minus the boy troubles

Hang in there :) it'll be over soon

Oooo Swapsies? Unless its hardout sciency/maths subject which i would surely fail for you. Anything that involves essay-rambling though, i'm your (wo)man!

:pfft: I highly doubt that Rose. My life is full of empty-useless-meaningless-dramas.

I will admit to having to clean the house first before I could sit down to study  I know!!

Thats not as uncommon as you think Barbelle. I have to have a perfectly clean desk/room/house before i can literally sit down for more than a few hours and truly concentrate. I guess some would call that OCD, but it works for me so pffft. 8) Plus at least its a productive form of procrastination, unlike, um... facebook. :shifty:

Hmmmm yup, I seriously need a lesson in cruelty right now

Sundays Training: Legs

• Squats 15x4 @ 25kg, 15x4 @ 30kg:

Question: is it more important to focus on squatting deep (i.e getting your ass as close to the ground as possible) or increasing the weight?

• Lunges 9kg x 30

• Leg Press 118kg 15x4

• Negative Wide-grip pullups 3x4

• Mountain climbers 3x 40

• Leg extension 55kg 12x5

• Cardio: 16 mins cross training - 70-80% HR (freakin kicked out, yet again  )

Another question: is it better to run outta time to finish your cardio, or your main routine? My cardio efforts are seriously lacking at the moment now that i'm time strapped.

My 2c worth - I'd focus on form, rather than weight. Whether you go parallel, ATG or other is a matter for debate - covered well here.

Just 2c more... this depends on your objectives. I was ranting similarly about the compromise between cv fitness and bb'ing. If your concern about cardiovascular fitness outweighs your desire to build and shape a strong, lean, muscular frame, there's your answer. But your diet seems on-track, so unless, like Vee for example, you had a marathon in your calendar, I'd accept the compromised cardio in favour of doing the main routine all the way through. That is, in fact, what I've had to do myself due to pressure of work (abandon cardio temporarily in favour of weights).

Cheers TFB, hadn't seen that thread. I think i will just keep going to parallel or just below. Seems to be working as i can definutly feel it.

My cardio fitness seems to matter less and less to me. As long as i keep my base fitness there i'm happy. I don't have any desire to be running incredible marathons like Vee, i so don't have the incredible stamina or dedication for that! Ha I never thought the day would come when i would say I enjoy weight training more  but i guess thats a good thing, excluding my mothers constant rants telling me to stop. :pfft:

Think i will follow your lead and just do as much cardio as i get time for at the end. Man it would be great if the gym was a time warp where the clock stopped....

Anyways Thankys for the great advice TFB, as always
