Excellent thanks Rose I'll put it up on the wall in HQ. Thinking about changing the name of my journal just to HQ. Or maybe some kind of code name?? Might take some thought though.......... :think:

Can't be bothered posting my workout today or yesterday. Physio advised keep off my knee for a week and we will reassess. So I'm in limbo. Is that what its called?? :-s

Anyways I'm allowed to gym and do arms weights and cardio on the bike (my mosted hated cardio machine :evil: ) in the meawhile........

I'm too depressed to write anything else :cry: :cry: :boohoo:

:doh: That sucks, i know what its like. Still, you can make the most of the requisite limbo-time to expand and focus on your weight training :D

Gutted Peachy, its only a week though, I broke my foot a couple of years ago put me out of action for karate for like 3months and then I still couldn't kick with that foot for another 6months after that, I know how it feels to be out of it.

It's only a week though, hopefully when they reassess all will be well, and you can carry on training for the marathon :wink:

Oh noes Peachy, it really sucks when you're limited to cardio you hate. I had a knee injury once. Couldn't do stuff all on it so I relate to your frustration. What about rowing or crosstrainer? Are either of those allowed or do you hate them too? Anyways, look after your knee chick, hope it gets better quick :nod:

That's a bugga about your knee. Hang in there :) Apart from rest has your physio recommended any other treatment eg, accupuncture or ultrasound? Hey... if you have a bike at home maybe you could watch DVD's... to take your mind off it :)

My sincere apologies to all club members for my recent absenteeism (hmm duno how to spell that :-s ).

Been a wee bit uninspired and um sad the past few days.

Holy crap I am so happy I didn't know I love running this much. I could cry I'm so happy :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin:

Had my new shoes on and my knee strapped up hard and kinda took it easy but no pain. I always overreact when I get injured and think the world is coming to an end but you really do take being injury free for granted.

Any club news while I have been gone??

Oh and on another note had a man come up to me in the supermarket today and tell me he sees me running everyday and asked what I was training for and he said that he used to run marathons and ultra marathons (never heard of them??) and that I have awesome dedication :grin:

And he was completey not a weirdo :grin:

I feel like such a whinger in my journal at the moment :roll:

Well looks like it'll double gym workouts for another week again. Have a session with the PT tomorrow so hopefully get me a nice new split workout and some motivation. Next physio on Wednesday.... walking like a weirdo until then :oops:
