Oh dear....

Thought I better do a post of how I am going so you don't think I have failed!!! :lol: I'm scared to post my pics. What if someone recognizes me??

The weekend has been a bit of a bore I have had that feeling in my throat like I am getting sick so I have tried to do everything I can to trick my body into thinking everything is normal and hoefully it will go away :pray:

I have done a 8km run every morning this week but after reading the thread on HIIT in the fitness forum I thought I should up my game so went and sussed a PT at my gym and he showed me what speed and intervals to do on the treadnmill and the rower. So have incorporated that into my gym workout for the first time today. I've still got the shakes!! :shock:

Morning: 8km run

Midday workout at gym:

5 minutes warm up on crosstrainer

Lying dumbell press: 6kg each 10 reps 4 sets

Machine Row: 30kg 10 reps 4 sets

Seated Cable Row: 21kg 10 reps 4 sets

Tricep Kick Backs: 6kg 10 reps 3 sets

Shoulder Press: 12kg 10 reps 4 sets (this machine is hard! :oops: )

Leg Extension: 21kg 10 reps 4 sets

Lying Leg Curl: 21kg 10 reps 4 sets

Walking Lunges: heaps till my arse hurts and I can't do anymore

Leg Press: 10 reps 4 sets can't remember the weight :roll:

Abs: Sit ups on angled bench holding 2kg medicine ball with side rotations

10 reps 3 sets

Cardio: Treadmill: 15 minutes HIIT 1:1

Lying down sunbed: ahhhhhh....... my reward 8)

This is the first time I have posted my workout and it is one that I was given a few weeks ago by one of the guys who works at the gym. Would appreciate ANY advice on this! I can't remember the names of the machines either so if some sound wrong they probably are haha :lol:

M1: Scrambled egg whites and one whole egg avacado

M2: chop chop and baby spinach leaves

M3: PS

M4:2 x corn thins and PB

M5: PS

Starting to get my diet sussed a bit better too! Have been reading everyone elses journals for ideas so thanks guys :D

Water intake: ummmm........... :oops:

Found out that we aren't wearing bikinis or anything like that for this boxing thing so that's a relief!! It's looking like it'l be short dresses and heels. Have no idea how we will climb through the ropes??? :-s :shock:

Yesterday: Nothing :naughty:

Actually wait no that is a lie I did a 20 minute pilates AB DVD

Today:

Morning workout: 8km run

Which is starting to feel like nothing so I am upping the intensity and sprinting intervals on the last 2km

Evening workout:

10 warmup on crosstrainer

Lying dumbell press: 6kg each 10 reps 4 sets

Machine Row: 30kg 10 reps 4 sets

Lateral Pull downs: 24kg 10 reps 4 sets

Shoulder Press: 15kg 10 reps 3 sets

Arse is still too sore from Sundays lunges to do any leg weights so that will be on the agenda for tomorrow.

Cardio: 10 minute HIIT on treadmill

Think I am going to do the pilates ab DVD again before bed because I can really feeling it working and its the only way I will workout my abs for 20 minutes. (For some reason I hate abs exercises the most.... they are annoying :? )

Oh I am in such a bad mood today. I'm grumpy at myself mainly because I flagged the gym tonight and went to my mums and had a big home cooked meal. And dessert. :evil:

This is the first time since I started this journal that I have cheated on my food and I now have realised that it is not worth it. But I had to realise afterwards grrrrrr!!!!!!!! :doh: :doh: :doh:

I am so full which means tommorrow mornings run is guna be so hard I'll feel all heavy and my energy levels will be all farked. :cry:

But.... (insert some sort of motivational music here such as eye of the tiger :nod: ) tommorrw is another day and a day where I will be wiser from what I have experienced today.

I have been feeling all saintly this week and have definitely noticed a difference. My weight is the same but everything is definitely firmer!!

My diet has been pretty much the same:

M1: eggs and avocado

M2: PS

M3: Chicken salad

M3: PS

M4: few pieces of sushi

M5: fish and salad

I am not happy with my weights routine as comparing it to the other girls journals mine is just a stupid generic one that the gym gives everyone (still bit grumpy) and doesn't have enough free weights.

So new plan is to book a session with a PT this week \:D/ I am looking forward to it.

Oh I am so full I have had to undo the button on my jeans. Doesn't help when your mum is practically force feeding you..........

Yes I noticed when I had a trainer at the gym the plan they gave me was very much the same as everyone else in the gym, so adapted it for me, and then when I noticed alot of changes. Maybe you could try the same after giving the PT's plan a go for a while :)

If your looking for toning try doing the weights a little bit quicker, this should help tone up the body parts being used. As for your diet, don't get over the top about changing it, a nutritionist once told me most things are fine if your already a light weight. Eat a little more than you are, drink lots more water and try eat vegetables earlier in the day (I DON'T KNOW WHY THAT IS)

Sounds like things are going according to plan though, if you are getting firmer already, good luck, look forward to hearing about the progress.

Thanks TE I will definitely give the faster weights thing a go. And its really nice to hear about the food thing!! It's funny because I have always eaten what I want but ever since I tried eating really healthy as of last week all of a sudden I want food that I never ever even used to want!! Like pies and cakes and stuff :naughty:

Weird about the vegetables thing so do I just try and stick to just protein at night??

Hopefully its an early KO so we don't have to hold up the signs for too many rounds *yawn* :roll:

Oh I am so slack at doing my journal but in all honesty it is the same every day at the moment. Run... work... gym...

Got a huge blister on my foot from running in the rain yesterday morning. It's bout the size of a $2 coin. So thats making running fun at the moment.

Hopefully I will have a more exciting workout to post after my PT session! \:D/

my cousin is fighting on the 29th so ill be there to watch...wonder if its the same place ????

I saw some posters for this thing I'm "in" and its that Muay Thai fighting so that should be exciting :grin:

Yeh I know I am just sooo critical of my own self I want to be really happy with my pics before I post them and because I am probably never going to be happy it's hard to find a pic I think is good enough. But.... I really like it when other people post their pics coz it makes their journals more interesting and more motivational!!

I'll put them up tommorrow.

But are you able to take them down after?? :pfft: :pfft:
