Okay so I have been planning on doing a journal but my diet has been so terrible I have been way too embarrassed to post it and there is no point if your not going to be honest. Plus I have also been enjoying my chocolate obsession way too much to change just yet.

BUT......... as of yesterday in two weeks time I am going to be one of those ring girls that hold up the signs between rounds at an upcoming boxing match in my town. :pale:

So I need to get real and up my game!! Which is hard because Pak 'n' Save had kingsize blocks of chocolate on special for $1.99 today!! :cry:

The fight is on the 29th August and my aim is to look toned (at the moment I am squidgey :oops: ). It is hard because when I eat healthy I look too skinny but when I don't eat healthy I look untoned. Haha I am such a beginner at this so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Having been a ballet dancer I am used to starving myself to get back into "shape" but that would not look good for this kind of thing.

I'm going to post my workout and diet everyday because that is the only way I will stay on track. It's quite exciting but I am also kinda nervous because I really really can't fail.

Current stats:

Height: 163cm

Weight: 47kg (scales at home unsure how accurate)

Body Fat: Don't know

What else is there??

Not much you can do in 2 weeks hun. Just try to get in 3x weights, 3-5x cardio in the am 30-45mins or try 15mins HIIT. I would suggest having a peek at the other ladies diets i.e. Vee is a good starting point for ideas.

Best bet for looking the part is exfoliate every day, moisturise your body with cocoa butter and get a spray tan, nice and dark the day before, tan and good skin will make you look more toned and polished 8)

Yeh I know it's really short notice so I am definitely thinking that the spray tan will probably make a bigger difference than anything else I do but I think even just eating healthy will definately make me feel like I look better even if I don't haha.

I will try get some pics up but the only person I'll let take them is my mum haha so will have to wait till I see her tomorrow.

Yep in 2 weeks you can make yourself look better inside and out, keeping your water intake up too, say double what you are having now as tis probably not much right?

Yay, new girl journal!

I reckon keeping a journal is great, and is the best way of keeping yourself honest - if you know you have to write it down, it tends to make you think twice about if you really want to have something that you probably shouldn't! That really worked for me when I did one in Feb when I needed to start losing some weight - it wasn't an online journal, just a bit of paper that only I could see, but there's no point lying to yourself now is there :naughty:

Seriously, you do need to ditch the sugar/sweetened water and go for regular filtered water if you can get it.

I don't particularly like tap water when its straight out of the tap, but keep a jug in the fridge and that seems to lose the "bad" flavour after a short time.

Our tap water here in Wellington is pretty awful I have to say. I don't know where the water at the gym comes from, but I'll only drink that and water from the filter at work. Tap water at home is only drinkable if it's got protein powder mixed in, otherwise I won't go near it - yuk!

Seriously Peachy, as others have said, look beyond the initial two weeks and make some changes today. Ditch the 'starve to get into shape' ballet mentality, the lolly water etc, and eat some muscle food.

Sure spray tan etc are options on the day, but you'd be surprised at what you *could* achieve in two and a half weeks if you're armed with good info and motivation.

You will be very proud of me (well I am :grin: ) I have managed to drink a whole pump bottle so far today... just the normal pump not the super pump (baby steps). Think my workmates think I have a problem though coz I'm going to the toilet every 10 minutes :-s

Today was so much harder then I thought it would be! As soon as you decide not to eat anymore crap all the crap starts to look so so so good. But I knew I would have to share with you all everything I ate today and didn't want to fail on the first day that would be :oops: . I don't think i would ever want to show my avatar on here again!!!

Anyway my day so far:

8am - bodybrush for a good 5 whole minutes - skin looking a bit pink ("why is she doing this to us so early???)

8.15 - 9am - 8km run

Breakfast - glass of water with lemon, scrambled eggs and avocado

10.30 - work

1pm - grilled chicken and salad (at a work shared lunch!!!)

3pm - sugarfree V :naughty:

And now I am just sitting at my desk at work waiting while the last half hour drags its arse..... need to pee again :roll:

Arrrghhh I hope so! I meant I used a bodybrush... you know the exfoliating kind that gets all the blood into your fat and "eliminates toxins" and "reduces the appearance of cellulite". It's worth a shot :lol:

No gym tonight. At my mums to get her to take pics and can't find the digital camera cord thingy that plugs into the computer. Borrowing my sisters camera on the weekend. Eek :shifty:

See I told you I don't know what I am doing :lol: All my information comes from cosmo magazines haha. But it's ok because I am getting some of that protein powder today that all the cool kids are using 8) Was so exhuasted yesterday so definately need to eat more. Yuss!!! :grin:

What did you have for dinner? MORE water :D

I didn't want to brag but I had crayfish =P~ and vegies

What was your diet like before? Cos you aren't eating much. But hard to tell because you are so small.

Yeh wee bit ashamed of what I have been eating up until now. Usually just whatever I want whenever. Didn't have breakfast then would have a pie on the way to work :oops: um then something from the vending machine about 2pm um and then maybe some sushi and um then whatever is for dinner (I don't do the cooking) :oops: :oops: :oops:

So I just thought I would try start having 3 meals a day and eat the healthiest thing I could :grin:
