congrats on your kilo loss last week, did you get your butt to the gym?, how big were you in your profile pic was that recent?

thankies :)

no gym, i was being lazy/careless/ not trying..... im not happy with this week at all... but i have figured out some habits of mine... for example, late at night i start to get hungry and want to eat... which probably means i dont eat enough during the day..... which would be true...

thats how i got fat i guess, my sister has told me that i dont eat much (never really ate breakfast or lunch).... and i tell her well thats true.. but wen i do eat, i eat late at night and its usually something pretty fatty then just sleep on it

my profile photo i was 79.9 Kg... i took it on the day i posted it up on this site

cant wait till i lose some more weight then i'll take more pix and see how ive changed... this can be fun if i stick to my bloody plan :x

I heard you should snack on nuts (Such as around 8 almonds) and it should suppress some feelings of hunger. I haven't tried it myself though.

I had the nicest snack today, dipping rice crackers in humus :nod:

well hey if your still dropping you must be doing something right, try and get breakfast in, if the gyms gonna take a back seat for now focus on your nutrition, you'll do fine

Keeping things simple is key. Also when you consider weight loss as a percentage loosing X amount of kgs a week means nothing. You might drop 5% of your weight in a week, at 80kgs thats 4kg but clearly that is unsustainable. So don't feel too bad if you don't loose that much each week.

thanks... and youre so right... some people can make weight loss so complex... do this.. do that... count calories... blah blah... i am going to prove that without all that you can still lose weight, and look toned

actually, this one guy came into work and i asked him if he knows where i can buy whey protein isolate (he was a stranger but had muscle so i asked him :pfft:) and he said "no i havent a clue.. all i eat is porridge"... and u should of seen him.. he was huge! ... now tell that to someone sticking to x,y, and z diet plans and they wont believe it :-s

im not saying that you dont need x amount of protein ... and x amount of exercise.... you do... but even that can be kept simple

I think the ppl who make it complex are the self proclaimed fitness 'gurus' who are just trying to make a buck outta their 'secrets'...

there is no secret, if you really want something you just have to work hard for it, or else you'll never get it

Actually, what you'll prove is that what you did, worked for you. But until you can train people exactly the same way, and get the same results, that's all you've established.

working hard is just getting your arse to the gym and doing what you have to

from what ive read/experienced 'science' and losing weight/gaining muscle has always changed its mind... now the new idea is that ppl CAN spot reduce fat... some research has come out to prove that this is so... i'll just ignore all of them :pfft:

anyways i just keep it simple cos i like it that way :)
