oh wait i do have an update!

I bought some whey protein isolate.. so expensive ... $99 for 2 kg  .. .54 servings... only a few grams of carbs and no fat! just got this for my post workout protein shake

I also bought a sample of this chocolate protein bar.. which had like 4-5 grams of fat, but low carbs... around 22 grams of protein... it was so delicious!!! but again expensive... $4.50 for one bar  .. but $54 for a box which has around 20 bars i think, not too sure! I dont even know the name of the bar... hmmm... it had a long name and it was in a green packet.... and looked like dark chocolate.. was so delicious =P~

Looks tasty, I've never thought of bars as a good investment but I'm interested in what brand you got? I ate 'Naked Bars' when I was rowing and they were the best tasting protein bars I've ever had

Likewise, i never thought that a bar could have that much protein and taste so good with little fat! I am not sure what brand it is, i tried to do a search on it but i couldnt find anything, i might go back to the shop and get me the whole box, i guess that could keep me sane during my 'cutting'

phase (if youd call it that)

yup, i also noticed Naked Bars... it caught my eye because of its name... smart marketing :pfft: im not sure about the naked bars but the ones i had , had little fat and next to no carbs... which is great! .. all this talk about those bars is making my mouth water =P~ =P~ =P~

Lol save your money though. Bars are ok if you need something high in protein you can chuck in your bag and take with you but eating them as a regular meal is a waste. Freeze up some chicken or buy some cans of tuna and eat that when your hungry, keep your carb intake low you will drop weight in no time.

  wow, these have just been the funniest 5 pages ive caught up on :pfft:

i dnt know what ur seriousness is wit loosing the weight CB but sounds like ur simular minded to my wife (well.........mabe only on certain things :? ), but over the past cuple of yrs i have seen she has been unhappy with her weight and tryed to get her to do sum cardio eat healthyer etc so she would feel better about herself too, but it hasnt been until the past few mths that she has really knucled down and started to sort her self out.

she has been droping clothes sizes due to eating better alone but has now come to a stand stil but has also decided she wants to get into the gym now to go the whole distance.

so my advice if u are hardout wanting to drop the dress sizes is to not try do it all at once fast (specaily just doing it with lack of eating) as generally the faster u loose it the faster u will put it back on if u fall off track.

so take from that wot u want and il stay tuned to see how ur progress goes 8)

I guess ppl put it back on because they dont learn how to say 'no' to fat foods and they dont eat enough healthy/highprotein foods during their diet, and so they just go on a fad diet and wen thats over they start to consume too much fat and that just gets absorbed by the body who is in starvation mode and wants to just suck up any nutrients/fat that is thrown at it....

but you know I have to lose the weight in 2 months and 1 week. I am going overseas (for a major event) and the clothes i bought for the trip are 2-3 dress sizes smaller than what i am now  ... i have to lose around 16 kgs by then. So I cant take my time. I just have to shed the kgs.

If i did have the time, i probably would of taken it slower.... but thats not an option for me right now.

So i am just hitting the gym and doing the weights and havin enough protein and just hope that i dont go soft after the weight has been lost!

my sister lost around 25 kgs and shes sooo soft! ... it feels nice wen i squeeze her, especially her bicep area, but it doesnt look normal.. she didnt go to the gym or even do exercise, she just lost it by eating pretty much nothing.... the good thing is she hasnt gained anything back and its been a while.

Are u having fresh fish or crumbed fish?

If you're cutting i'd probably stick with fresh fish cause there's lots of carbs and fats that you don't wan't in the batter

lol i wish i could have crumbed fish... i would be in heaven!

But no :( , i just have the plain boneless fillets... has around 25 grams of protein in each piece! ... which is really good. And i just grill it without oil... and squeeze some lemon, a tiny bit of salt and pepper... YUM!
