The NZ army has bombs?? LOL, I thought the most danger they faced was driving one of those shitty unimogs! Mind you it was "old" bombs, they have probably been sitting around since the 1800s.

I met a 'supply technician' in the army once with the same job 'title' as Dontrunwithknives. He said the only crap they ever got to blow up were old bombs people found in their garages or something else explosive and that only ever happened very occationally. He said the NZ army really does shit all new explosive work, and they had never dealt with real bombs. This was after he tried to impress me by saying he got to 'blow things up' for a living... :pfft:

Yeh I am fine... Flight Sergeant Forster was a great guy. It seems so crazy... I mean I just saw him this morning... He was on my last course with me :(

ahh sorry to hear about it it fullstop but even worse when its someone cloase to ya knives...sounds like he copped it big time and didnt suffer too much :shock:

Yeh... I hate to imagine how bad it would have been to see it.
