Feelin tired, def not recovering as fast as I have been. Delts still sore from last week and the LPC feels tired. Gonna have to deload soon and make it a longish easy spell

Week 11 Day 2

Hamstring niggling again today so Im going to pull out the deload card. Not going to hurry the deload or set a date rather go by how I feel. Ive nothing to prove.

got some links to these 'warm up's you do

im doing agile 8,rolling a lot and some band work. im keen to try out some new stuff :nod:

not really but if you have a dig around synergy athletics and defranco.com you'll be on the right track. Elitefts have some good stuff too but the key for me is to make sure I do it every day or at least 5/7. Im adding in more GPP as of next week too and kicking off the new phase with better fitness. It all helps.

Circuit - 30 mins non stop - near killed me :puke:

Sled + 60kg + 1 kid - 100m jogs

30 hits to tyre

Tyre flips x 5 (235kg tyre)

Log press x 10 - varied log each time for grip width and weight (40/65kg)

Red band pressdowns - 100

Pretty roasted by the end. 8) This will get better and to be honest Ive missed this in my training.

Finished with the Violater (15 mins) and heavy stretches (15 mins)

Weighted abs - pulldowns - up to 105kg -4x15

Incline crunches - 4x15 with a 20 on chest

Day 6...still setting up everything but think weve got it sussed.

Had a deep tissue massage last night with the Qoleum Rub and heavy screwdriver handle. Hammy feeling a little more flexible today. Same again tonight :twisted:

Did BF% and weighed in today - 145.4kg @22% Will drop this back with the planned GPP and this new intensity we got going on.

Trying a different approach, giving the joints a rest and giving the muscles a thrashing...there's a week of down time in it later on when we go marlin catching but the general gist of it is this..

Diet changes too. Will be eating maint calories and relying on the raised intensity and GPP days to drop a bit of body fat. Will eating clean with reduced carbs in the afternoons/evenings with generally smaller carb portions. Any loss of calories will be made up with protein.

how much fat do you plan on dropping bro? fuark 145 is solid as f*ck at 22%

I was just under 150kg but it was becoming hard labour on the sled and on the long sessions so its not really about a number or kgs I'll drop but more about how I feel and already there is a difference....but maybe drop down to 18% or a bit lower if I can...hell I might even enjoy it :lol:
