Turns out Westley is of Gyspy descent...Sherwood Gypsys in fact...POMs know of them as Pikeys...You know the ones....caravan at the edge of town, painted purple with no glass in the windows, 30 cats, 12 children, the smell of something rotting that ends up being the home brewed wine. Stuff goes missing round town, but they are too slippery to catch. They steal a perfectly good shirt, rip the arms off it and turn them into bags or pouches...many of the young run away to the circus...I could go on....

anyway he stood above me tonight dripping sweat on me after his round of The Reaper circuit and panicked when the bar slowed...grabbed it then coaxed it up...Im sure I had it all ready to lock out! Slippery Gyspy!:lol:

Week 13 Day 1 - Bench Test

BW - 141.2kg

Warm ups

Violater - 15 mins

Dislocations - 3x10

Scap press- 3x10

Drop Press - 3x10

Bench - raw, wide grip

10xbar

10x60

5x80

5x100

3x120

3x140

1x150

1x155 - PB - popped up.

Happy with that and the 12.5kg gain from the program. Bench has been a weak lift for me and its good to break the 150 which was all I wanted from this program. Will be running it again.

Add shirt - fury 50

3x160 - 3bd

3x175 - 2 bd

3x180 - 1 board with carpet - crushed finger on the rack as the bar went home - squashed and split the skin on my pinkie, bled some, covered it up cos it didnt look good and pushed on. Kinda ruined the vibe.

1x190 - was going for the touch but I couldnt get it down...frustrating! It just hovered about 1 inch off the chest and I couldnt/didnt row it in. Hung it there for ages! I got fed up and pressed it out easy.

DB flyes - 3x10

Halbert Raises - 3x10

Blue band pressdowns - 200

happy with outcome, still learning the gear, onto a deload and look forward to going another round.
