28 year old female

179cm tall

67kg

10-11% body fat

Have been going to the gym 5-6 times a week for the past two years. I build muscle very easily and naturally have quite low body fat.

My current weekly workout schedule is

3-4 x 30min of intervals on elleptical

2 spin classes

1 boxing class

4-5 30-40min resistance training sessions a week

I go to the gym at 6am each morning, except Sundays and days I'm away. I have a Pilates reformer at home that I use a couple of times a week for about 20min.

Diet -

Protein shake at gym 6:30am

Breakfast - beetroot carrot celery and ginger juice, protein smoothie with flax, bran, yogurt bananas and ice.

Mid morning - apple, almonds, coffee

Lunch - soup, salads, chicken, leftovers from dinner

Afternoon - Protein bar, cup of tea

Dinner - Steak, salmon, chicken, burritos or Thai curries with lots of veges.

Before bed - protein shake

Weekends - eat like crap, often a lot of junk food and alcohol..

My goal at the moment is to cut 5kg and get a more lean physique and a little less muscle.

Any tips on how I can achieve this would be appreciated. And yes, eating less crap on the weekend would probably help a lot!

Hi Sunni. I think it's safe to say you've got different goals to the majority here, but we're all trying to change our physique through diet and training. I'm curious as to what you feel is too much muscle though - why not post some pics?
