You cook the sludge INSIDE the omlette? Whattt?

 No - though that might be worth trying! I just attempt to spread it.

Oh woops  that makes more sense.

I tried that this morning, but sludge on a egg-white based protein pancake. Was rather delish. =P~

How do you find the NO Shotgun as a preworkout supp matey?

Well, the tingling feeling has gone that I got the first time I used it - that was odd! But to be honest I'm not sure that I feel much with it, that it's doing anything much. With Superpump 250 I felt really energized with the caffeine hit (I don't like coffee, so can't do the cuppa before a workout option!) and felt as though it was giving my workouts a boost - but I'm not so sure with the NO Shotgun. I've got 3 tubs of the stuff (3 for 2 special on bb.com!) so I'll carry on with it - but once I'm done with it I don't think I'd bother buying it again. I might cycle it with Superpump if I can afford more Superpump (which sadly bb.com won't send to NZ, so have to pay inflated NZ prices) .

yip same..I seem to have a limited time before the body get used to the stuff. back to coffee 8)

Good consistent training you got going on there

I've been doing well lately with the PBs though, and so I wonder if perhaps the NO Shotgun is helping, given my reduced calories, but in a more subtle way than Superpump 250? I don't know really - I'm probably doing well because I enjoy it and want to do well and just have lots of motivation. Ah well, I'll just keep using it til I'm out, then see what happens then!

Oh ok so the other name is a lying down barbell extension?

I find these really good they make me shake LOL...yet dips I have no problem.

I really like them - do them a lot in pump but with much lower weights, so it's nice to try them with heavier weights. I always loved the name too!

So yesterday was spin with Ashley. t's amazing how much I actually enjoy the class when she takes it. I've said it loads before - I hate cardio, and only do it because I'm desperately cardio unfit, and currently because I want to lose fat - but I actually actively enjoy Ashley's classes, and will reschedule as much as possible go to her class once a week (except 6.30 - public transport doesn't allow that, without getting up at 5am, and really, I draw the line at that!!).

Food went well yesterday for the most part, but was very nibbly last night.

1. 4 eggwhites with sludge

2. Tuna

3. PS (then ran out of time for pre-spin NO Shotgun)

4. Tuna and avo and PS

5. PS

6. Indian chicken meatballs with veges

Then I got the munchies and kept picking at my husband's muesli, which is delicious!

7. Sludge

Current weight: bang on 59kg, so I'm down about 1.5kg since I started this eating plan, and I'm now 3.5 weeks in, so I'm pleased with that result. Starting to see bits of muscle, and continuing to achieve PBs or at least not to lose strength, so super happy about that.

Just need to keep myself fully occupied in the evenings so that I don't pick - my current sewing project is very good at keeping me away from food, so I'll keep up with that and away from the kitchen!

Oh, CC - muesli, after dark :sigh:

There are probably better choices, like raw almonds, if you have to...

Hooray for PBs, tho

I know, it was very naughty - but at least I'm being honest and confessing (spot the Catholic upbringing  ). We seem to be out of nuts at the moment, and I demolished the cheese the night before when I also had the munchies. Oh yeah, I had munchies 2 nights in a row - But hey, weight went down after both munchout sessions, after stagnating for a week, so I'm so not going to beat myself up about it.

But what I think I might do is alter my eating plan so that I have a little extra at dinner time or shortly after, maybe a half a protein shake, or something like that, as I'm increasingly finding that I get peckish around 8pm (dinner is around 6pm and pre-bed snack at 9.30). It's clearly my danger time, so if I schedule something nutritious for that time, then I won't need to keep making these confessions!

Speaking of munchies, did anyone watch that "What's really in your food?" documentary on chocolate last night?

Lucky there was no food in the house, my mouth was watering just thinking of it :shifty:

Yeah I watched it - but chocolate doesn't really do it for me. Well, good chocolate is all good, the kind you get from specialty chocolate shops. But dairly milk - meh, no thanks!

Same here - I screamed at my bf for watching it and made him change the channel!

Well done on the weight loss CC - awesome work!

I'm continuing to be amazed that even on reduced calories and losing weight, I'm managing lots of PBs. Feeling bloody awesome after this evening's workout:

Started with a few chinups (4) and a couple of pull assists (5), but just not in the mood for that, so went off and did some cable rows instead: 35kg 1x12, 40kg 1x12, 42kg 1x10 - all that was a minor improvement on previous weights

Bent over rows 32.5kg 4x8 - PB (extra set than before)

EZ bar curls 10kg 4x8 - PB (only managed 2 sets at that weight before)

All the 7kg weights were in use, with a bunch of guys lined up doing hammer curls, so I wandered over to do some lat pulldowns, 35kg 1x12, 40kg 1x12, 42kg 1x8 - again, a slight improvement on last time

Narrow grip cable curls 20kg 3x12 PB (previously did 15kg 3x12 - was really pleased with today's effort, having already PB'd on the EZ bar)

Hammer curls 7kg 4x8 - another PB but form was pretty iffy

Concentration curls 7kg 6/6/5/5 - not a PB on that - biceps fried by this stage!

Now going to do some sewing and staying away from the cheese and muesli!

Well done on the weight loss and the PBs! What is this sewing project you speak of? 8)

Oh, it's a bit Nana, so I won't go into too much detail  Let's just say it's my attempt at being all arty and crafty

I'm sure it's cool 8)

I teach fashion design so I am always interested in peoples projects! I have several on the go at the moment: a tutu, a dress, and several corsages

What a cool job! Wow, you must be so creative. I'd love to be able to design my own stuff, but I have zero imagination, so I just copy stuff I see (easy stuff!). Maybe I'll post a pic of my creation when it's finished - but it's a long term project, so it'll be a while (and I have a tendency to move on to other things for months at a time!).

Feeling very lethargic today - maybe yesterday's workout wore me out? Am now 58.7kg, which is the lowest I've been in years, so am extremely happy despite lack of energy.

Today I spent longer getting to and from the gym and getting changed than actually working out. Did 3 shoulder exercises, then decided just to leave it, as I just didn't have the energy.

Did manage a PB on the DB shoulder press, but only just - 10kg 4x10 (one extra set than last week)

Lat raises 5.7kg 3x12

DB Front raises 4.5kg 3x12

Still haven't done legs this week, and am considering leaving them til Monday if I'm feeling as lethargic tomorrow - have a break and come back with a vengeance rather than a halfhearted effort. I've also got Monday all day and Tuesday afternoon off work, so lots of time for 2 really awesome workouts on those days rather than my normal rush job at lunchtime.

Might do a pump class instead of legs, as my fave pump instructor is scheduled for tomorrow lunchtime.

Ah crap, no she's not - it's one of the instructors who uses the music that makes me want to go on a murderous rampage. Guess I won't be doing pump tomorrow!
