Hey Laura - maybe its time to check out a personal plan from the people at Real. They'll work out your lean mass and factor in your exercise so that you can get as lean as you want. If you are getting sore all the time you'll have high cortisol. High cortisol not only sucks up all your progesterone, it slams the door on fat burning. So the only real way to get leaner through your lower body - is to get your food plan personalised based on your starting point, end goal and base calories.

Anything else is guesswork. True story.

Did my cycling last night, was on the bike next to this guy (he was doing the same stage just started a bit before me) and he was in agony, legs hardly going round, im like, oh yay look what I'm in for... was 20kms on level 16, which is like super hard for me, so I kept 3.3km behind him all the way through and my final time was like 7s less than his or something!! was STOKED. pushed hard at the end and dominated that shit.

Diet has been good,

M1: Protein + banana + coffee blend

M2: coffee

M3: tuna + pesto + spinach leaves (so good)

etc etc

Quick update, doing tour de gym still, going okay, going to come second (out of two) BAHAHAH. Classic, but nah is good I'm pushing myself and beating this one guys time consistently so all good. Apart from that just doing a few quick weight sessions in between. But anyway I'm feeling okay not losing as much weight as I hoped fucking cardio makes me ravenous.

Yeah well I wouldn't read too much into that other thread... I'm definately coming second lol, there is no question about that. :)

Yeah bloody cardio makes me sooo hungry it's insane, must not eat the whole house!! I'm eating right now infact... hhehehe

The arm, well it still has a bump on it. Which is quite concerning. Next week when I get back into the weights I'll be able to tell, for now I'm just resting it up as much as possible.. really don't want to have to go back to the doctors any time soon

Hey hey tfb :D I'm just off to the gym now to complete my final 2 stages (did one this morning). Overall I'm really happy with how its gone, and my fitness has gone from 0 to about a 9 which is really cool. I'm actually looking forward to spin classes now!! But on the other hand it has taken up SO much time with each leg being from 40-80minutes long, I just haven't been able to do any weight sessions.. so this week will bring a welcome return to weights.

So yeah 6 month gym membership for finishing it is a nice prize I think :) but to be honest the main reward for me was just finishing it, after getting on the bike in the first stage and being like, oh hell no there is no way I can do this, and seeing everyone else do the same thing and drop out of the comp.

Anyway enough d&m crap for now, off to the gym!!

P.S I'm moving to London ;)

When - 1 month

Where - dunno

And nah, I've been through the relocate/gain weight thing before don't really plan on doing it again any time soon :)

MY legs are dying, so badly, right now..

Gonna have a break for 2 days and then crank back into it

dont stay in london to long...try and move up to some of the smaller cities if you can get work there...really hard to meet people in London itself...you can hang with the same crowd in london week in and week out and enjoy the party scene...and do all the same repetative crap that kiwis seem to get themselves stuck into over there....I met most of my english friends in Bristol and Liverpool and around Newcastle....good times.

Kinda freaking out about english summer and doing traditional laurasaur last minute panic - 2 week extreme keto diet woot!!

Today

1.5L water - yesterday I only had a glass or so

Eggs for breakfast (DISGUSTING)

Protein shake - first one in weeks (?!)

Tuna for lunch

Tuna for 4th meal - never have I eaten tuna twice in a day haha.

I would like to thank biggurl for the brocoslaw thread, I'm in love so deep with my grated brocolli friend.

Also Rose for her meat eating thread, not that I'm gonna be eating red meat any time soon but it encouraged me to have tuna for my 4th meal

And Vee for making gains, because it made me think I'm still at where I was ages ago, and everyone else is going so well~~!

Yeah man broccoslaw is the business! I used the rest of mine up in a stir fry it was very noice with a bit of sweet chilli ginger thrown in for tasty goodness

I'm eating sachet of tuna with about 1/2 cup to a cup of it with a tsp of pesto, sooooo GOOD
