A little bit of background:

Last year i was involved in a number of overlapping Social teams, as well as still finding a couple of nights a week to go for runs, play social basket ball with my mates and do a weight lifting routine.

However i then injured my knee (which stopped the social sport and running in its tracks) and shortly after got a new job in a start up company which left me little to know time for the gym. The job was fairly active which helped keep me fit, and when i got the chance i made it to the gym or did some mild sport which didn't agrovate my knee. However about 2 months ago i moved towns for a new job (desk job) and apart from the odd bike ride.. havn't really done anything.

After a long time coming and many hours of procrastination, I finally pushed through the icey wintery evening and got of the couch.

I have started with some cardio ( i am going mountain biking) and some old fashioned pull ups, push ups, and sit ups, to get me back into shape. Still a long way to go, and i recognise that i need to be incorporating some proper lifting, but at least i have gotten the ball rolling and started things.

Next stop... the gym :)
