Goals for this log:

Strength - To maintain top strength and endurance for weight training exercises, while increasing stamina for cardio.

Weight - I want to come down to around 82kg, while maintaining as much lean solid stuff as poss.

Purpose - To show people that with the correct knowledge of nutrition, supplementation, and training they can loose unwanted bodyfat, clearing the way for those abs to show! - Also to show you boys i'm not lean year round.

Beginning stats:

height: 5'11

weight: 95kg

Age: 22

Bodyfat %: around 25%

Current state

Basic Diet Consisting of:

Protein:

Tuna or most any fish.

Cottage cheese.

Eggs (especially the whites).

Chicken breast (boneless skinless).

Turkey breast (boneless skinless).

Lean beef.

Low fat or no fat cheese.

Low fat pork.

Milk protein isolate.

Whey protein.

Carbohydrates:

Sweet potatoes.

Oat meal, oat bran, oat bran cereal

Bran cereal.

Brown rice.

Wheat bread (try to limit to 2 slices per day)

Beans.

Fruits (limit to 2-3 servings per day).

Malto dextrin (during workout).

Dextrose (during workout)

Vegetables.

Fat:

Omega 3 capsules (i.e. fish oil capsules).

Flax seed oil.

Primrose oil.

Borage oil.

Olive oil.

Nuts (limit to 1 serving per day), peanut butter

Egg yolks.

Fish (salmon especially).

All other fat will come as a by-product of my

carbohydrate and protein intake.

Basic caloric intake:

2400 Calories day. 600 below maintenance.

- This will become less the further i get into it.

pro - 240 - 260g (1000 kcals)

cho - 200 - 225 (905 kcals)

fat - 45g - 60g (495 kcals/day)

Refeed day - 2825 kcals.

pro - 250g (1000 kcals)

cho - 400g (1600 kcals)

fat - 25g (225 kcals)

Interesting...very interesting.

That primrose oil's 'Evening Primrose'? and what's with Borage Oil - is it (like sunflower oil) just another natural source of unsaturated fat?

Same here mate, i'll be watching this space, I've got a couple of clients on a 10-12 week cut at the mo so i can show them your progress (if you dont mind) if they start to slack off!

I think Nick would be the first person to admit he is fat (relatively) at the moment.

I am curious as to how many cuts you do a year, this is the second one I have heard you talk about, and lastly...what have you been eating to disguise your abs? ;) :pfft:

yea i, find it weird u can go from one extreme(cut to pieces) to the other (..........well, alot chucky'er :pfft: ) . man, now that ive finally seen my abs while still bulkin, i dnt think i would be comfortable lettin this disappear on me ever again(incase they dont come back :shifty: )
