And I swear I saw TFB, but wasn't 100% and didn't want to feel like a dork for the rest of the class (if I'd said hi and it wasn't him).

(Sorry for snobbing you TFB)

Don't look now, he's BEHIND you

Being only one of two guys, it would have been difficult to hide

Did you enjoy it ?

I actually really enjoyed it (although felt abit 'unco' at times) but it was a decent enough workout :) The girl next to me was my sister. As you can see she is on the larger side but it was awesome to see her getting into it also. She has been taking a lot of my advice and has lost a few kgs already. I'm so proud of her.

Now I know exactly which one you were... it was my first pick, the only other girl was taller, but a lot less fit and toned.

Actually, I thought your sister (who was right in front of me) was going really well, it wasn't obvious at all that she was a comparative new-comer. If she keeps it up with the levels of energy I saw last night, she'll work wonders in no time!

Did I mention the Update up at Vic on Saturday? Only half-hour classes, but it's free - and at 2:30pm they're doing the Radical Elite. Check

Also took a couple Hydroxycut Max to try out. Unfortunately they hadn't worn off by the time I got to work and I was really wired. It was like I was on herbals or something and I couldn't concentrate!   Came right about 10am.

Yeah I tried those too when I first started training about a year ago and felt totally weird on them.

Waist has decreased by 2.5cm. Hips and thighs remain the same

good on you girl going in the right direction  .

even downloaded lots of old school rnb hits

8) old school.

Free class? Hmmm that's tempting!
Dooo it - the Fight Do will rock, it's Tania and two others team teaching it - the guy, Phoenix, is a maniac, it's awesome!

Cool, will see how my energy levels are after my weights session in the morning. But thanks for the update :) Was that Tania in the class? I was completely distracted by her glorious arms. I've seen her training at Exodus before (must have been before her class) and I was like "daaaaamn!!! Who is that!!"

I've been taking half the recommended dosage, and it seems to have come right now. Although they're not suitable for actual lifting, they make my cardio sessions a lot more enjoyable.

Yep, that was Tania - and yes, she's got a really great set of guns and shoulders (even tho she was carrying a shoulder niggle that day). She's also team-teaching Power (think 'Pump' but muuuuuch better  ) in the morning Update.

BF did not want to get out of bed this morning (man-flu I suspect) so decided to go for a morning jog instead for 40m. Ended up running down Brooklyn hill then jogging back up again (stopped a couple times of course).

Damn that was tough!

I'll get him to pick me up from the gym this arvo to make up for piking.

Wanted to make the most of this nice evening so went for a 45 minute jog around Oriental Pde. It was pretty stunning. Although I'm feeling the cold now so I'm looking forward to a hot shower.

Lucky you - I chose the exact time that southerly came through to haul my legs 'round the Bay. Wasn't it a great evening, tho!

It was pretty damn spectacular and you could tell everyone was in a good mood. I was also taking my sister around the bay for a jog too but I think I annoyed her (because I wanted to keep going whereas she kept getting the stitch) and she told me to carry on without her. So I did. Was that mean?

Back to Uni this semester for some part time study and received my mammoth course material in the mail yesterday (extramural). The assignments look pretty nerve wrecking but I really like being able to see what is in store for me, instead of being surprised with assignments. It's Advanced PR if anyone would like to throw some advice my way if that't their expertise! (Cause it certainly aint mine).

Back and shoulders this morn and an awesome 45m jog around the bay this arvo :)

Changing my training around a bit. Before I was on a 3 day split (light weights/high rep) with 3/4 cardio sessions on top of it to lose a bit of weight. But its making me unfocussed and grumpy so I'm going back to heavier lifting four times a week. My session this morn got me feeling right again (unfortunately the appetite has increased already!).

It wasn't half bad actually! We went up there expecting total rubbish, seeing as it's quite early the season but were pleasantly suprised. The lower mountain was pretty terrible but the upper half was fantastic. They opened the 6 seater on Sunday so plenty of fresh snow to ride. It's meant to be snowing this week, so hopefully more rain doesn't get rid of it. Heading up again next weekend then will prob give it a break until our week holiday up there in August.

What about you? Any snow trips this year?

No major trips planned - not like the lovely south island road trip last year. This year will just be cheeky weekends up to Ruapehu when we get the chance I think, and hopefully a few long weekends if it looks worth staying on the extra day. We're kinda waiting til the end of July before heading up - waiting til the evil school holidays are over, and there's hopefully a bit more snow. But as long as the season pass pays for itself, all is good (I got mine so long ago and the super duper cheapest as chips rate, so I barely even remember what it cost - something like about 4-5 day's worth of lift passes or something ridiculously cheap like that!).

Actually, I have a new theory on the school holiday thing. Every school holidays we go up on the first weekend, and find that the lines are very short and the mountain isn't packed at all. I think this is because parents tend to hold off for the week and continue on to the next weekend, and everyone else is thinking "I'm not heading up because it's school holidays." But I've found this only works on the first weekend of the holidays, both times (two sets right?). It's such a gamble though! We're going to hold off until August (although I think the bf is heading up every weekend except this one - talk about keen).
