FRIDAY - LEGS

LEG EXTENTIONS

12 x 33, 10 x 40, 8 x 40, 8 x 47

LUNGES (BB)

Gym floor x 10kg, 12.5kg, 12.5kg

LYING LEG CURLS

12 x 20, 10 x 25, 8 x 32, 7 x 32

LEG PRESS

15 x sled, 8 x +40, 8 x +80, 6 x 100kg

Form was getting pretty shite on the last set of leg press - but overall I'm pleased with my workout.

Another NZBBer at Exodus????!!

Just cardio today, 20m x-trainer and 20 treadmill. Looking forward to legs tomorrow :)

haha, we occasionally cross paths when i'm walking to work :P

I've been off pre workout supps for a couple months now and I finally feel like I have enough energy each workout without them. I was becoming addicted! :shock:

ditto...then you find you get acclimatised to them and need more to get the same affect...found the same with coffee pre workout.

See I still need my workout coffee....but will try and ween myself off that too. What do you have pre-workout BB?

Boxing session was awesome. Felt like my fitness had doubled (since March after my injury break). Had mad food rage though cause I forgot my protein brownie to have straight after. Took me an hour to get home so I was looking pretty dark and angry before I finally got food in me! :twisted: :twisted:

Oh no, I get so annoyed when I forget to bring food if it's going to be a while before I can get home or to work to eat - the hunger is just about unbearable (and I generally make bad food choices when that happens!)

The resemblance between me and that pic is pretty spot on! (Seriously...)

I attempted a low calorie cake yesterday to please some guests who were visiting. Turned out like a brick so we smeared it with melted dark chocolate. Either way it was a bad idea...got a bit sick today and didn't have any energy to train. So day off (which wasn't a bad idea cause I'm a bit sore from boxing yesterday morning).

Was really pleased with my bench press today. Feel like I'm gaining my strength back (not that I had any to begin with!) but can start looking at getting heavier with things. I think I managed to do two reps of 47.5kg last year so just working my way back. I'm definitely feeling sore at the mo. I will admit though, I didn't come all the way down with my last two sets - probably about 3/4cm off my chest :shifty:

Nice work! I also tend to struggle a bit on the last few heavy sets - but I reckon it's better to at least get 80-90% than not try it at all.

Had a boxing session in the arvo but it was pretty rubbish. I was at a course and made the mistake of eating their food (ham bun, two chicken legs and some cheese). Ugh......

Am looking to drop a bit of body fat now (with an event coming up in October that I need to look sharp for) so have changed my training around a bit.

Weights three times per week (Upper push, upper pull, legs and abs) combined with two boxing sessions and two medium intensity cardio sessions. Dropping the carbs at night, and keeping them for weight training days at lunch. Maintaining has been lovely but time to get back into it again.

Went to a party on Friday night and had some lovely comments (girlfriend called me toned which gave me a huge buzz).

I've been hitting the red meat a bit more lately and it has been o for awesome.

Im sorta doing the same training as you with 2 kickboxing sessions p/w and then weights and a few extra cardios but i find it soo hard to get my diet right to have enough energy!!

Upper body weights session today. Lower weights with higher reps. Felt pretty good.

Workouts have been a bit all over the place though (mainly my cardio). Trying to organise a membership with a new gym. Went to check out Habit today and it was totally rank. Bugger all equipment and weights there - I'm not even sure if I saw a squat rack? $30 a week is definitely over the top.

Might just join Spectrum in my building. All the equipment is pretty old school but they have everything at least. Plus I think it's only $19 per week.

Bailed on my afternoon cardio session today. As I walked into the gym I got a text from a friend whose other friend attempted suicide in her house. Poor thing. So went to go visit her instead.

Yikes $30 a week is expensive...$19 a week and old school sounds so much better.

Yeah she was as white as a sheet when I saw her - and I think the experience made her physically sick. But she'll be ok :)

Going back to Habit this morning for a cardio session, just in case. I want to see what its like training near my work. Will try Spectrum after work tomorrow.
