lying on your back, arms straight up holding bb close grip as if you were going to do benchpress, but instead bend your forearms down as if to *crush* your head with the bb... then raise back up. Trying to keep top of arms still. Works triceps :)

Thanks! BTW you look great in the photo :pfft:

Nice rows, Laura - and great progress in the pics. With PBs like that, maybe a back double-biceps next time, since your back w/o seems to be working for yout

Cheers.. yeah everyone says my back muscles are intense lol and tbh they are they only ones you can see that are there when I am relaxed :) just dominated an 8km run.

I'm fucking SICK of this fat now, and ridiculously sick of sabotaging my efforts. Today I ate cake, brownies and protein pancakes. NO MORE!!!!!~~~

Anyway, I'm just gonna dominate this until it is gone. Proper cut for real this time, arg, why can't I just do it already!!!!!! DO IT DO IT DO IT. Anyway my friend is going to give me an incentive to do the next 2 weeks. And then I have the continual incentive of my challenge with my GfS, I havent had a downwards weigh in for two consistent weeks so this week is going to be it.

I wrote out my plan for the next 1.5 weeks and it is this (I figure I will just plan for 2 weeks at a time that way I can stick to it and won't get bored)

starting from tomorrow:

Diet:

M1: Protein pancakes with cc and fruit (1)

M2: Protein pancakes

M3: Sachet tuna with small leafy salad and 1 tbsp pesto

M4: Protein pancakes

M5: Chicken, brussel sprouts, tomato sauce and carb free cheese if wanted. (mmm I am weird)

M6: Protein pancakes if needed. or 5 brazil nuts.

Wednesday: Squats am, 6km run pm

Thursday: Biceps/Triceps/Shoulders am

Friday: Deadlifts am, Dinner out with GF (wine, healthy thai meal, no meal 6)

Saturday: 8km run am, Wedding so random food in PM

Sunday: rest (WEIGH IN)

Monday: Chest am, 8-9km run PM

Tuesday: rest, green tea pm

Wednesday: Squats am

Thursday: Run PM whatever distance min 6km

Friday: Deadlifts am

Saturday: Run AM

Sunday Rest (WEIGH IN)

Love that attitude..wish I had it!

I'm starting a 20-week drive to reach the unreachable bodyweight/%bf, get to a place I've never been before, and I'm going to need that kind of 'take no prisoners' approach :shifty:

I don't know if I have it, thats the thing. Its easy enough to talk/type like that, but to actually harden the f*ck up and do it? I'm just SO SICK of "trying" half-assed to get to my goal. I mean its so close right? Why not just do it?

congrats on the 8km run today!  More than I'm doing at the mo!! Where do you run to-from?

It was a very slow/easy run although I could feel my knees starting to hurt which is what has always put me off running.

If that works its about where I go. From home along the waterfront to just past the orakei basin I think it is? I quite like it because there is a heap of people running and its always dark so I feel quite safe and a huge variation of fast/slow/walking male/female etc.

sounds liek you were pysching yourself up typing those hard-ass words then ay?

Nothing wrong with that we all have our ways...you've definitely thought it right through in your mind, even down to breaking it into 2 week 'sprints', sounds like Agile SCRUM ;-)

So why not write it down, write down the plan for each day in advance and then tell yourself that you will wake up each day and follow the plan, no deviations, no excuses. Don't let your mind or 'self' break from the plan you set which will take you to your goal...? just a thought mate

I do this when I'm cutting, I need it because when I am tired, stressed, in a rush, late for a meeting or whatever I make an excuse to skip a meal or do less cardio as like most of us I also plan ahead...it's just following the plan we know will work gets harder at times and before you know you've not followed the 'plan' - and your plan looks good

hahaha yes just like scrum love it.

Yep. It will be done - you guys need to check in on me ok though? I need max accountability... I'm always online so if Im not updating its generally because I am being BAD.

We'll keep you honest, for sure!

Remember that each day is a chance to take a small step toward your goals - there are no "re-takes".

I could get all Yoda on ya and say ""Do, or do not. There is no 'try.'" but I think you already have all the answers you need.

So, when it's cold and wet and miserable as you run 'round the bays, just console yourself with the knowledge that each step takes you closer to your goals.

Hey Laurasaur

Looking good! You're much leaner than what I thought you were going to be (based on the brownie talk :P ).

What's your BF% by the way? I think I have the same sort of stats to you, and I'd like to know how I'm comparing to those similar to me.

I'm 170cm, 25%, 63kgs.

Cheers :) Haha. Yes the evil brownies. No more of them for quite some time :P

I don't know what my BF is at right now tbh. I have been weighing in on some tanitas but they are way crazy varying 5% if u get on and off again.. and Im 31% on them. My last caliper test I was at 26%, and I think I was just a little bit fatter than I am now.

I'm 173 so a little taller but yeah pretty close!!
